Prayer for healing

We have heard your request for healing and we join together with you to bring this need before our Heavenly Father in Jesus name. We are moved with compassion for you and we thank you for reaching out so we can stand with you in prayer.
We believe that God is our healer and that He cares deeply about your suffering. Scripture reminds us that He is the Lord who heals us, Exodus 15:26, and that He heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3. We cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, and we remember that by His stripes we are healed, Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24. We also take comfort in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, and in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
Together we pray, Father, we lift up our dear one who is asking for healing and we ask for Your mercy and Your touch upon their body. We ask that You would lay Your healing hand upon them, ease their pain, restore strength, and grant wisdom to any who are providing care. We pray for Your peace to guard their heart and mind and for faith to be strengthened even in this time of waiting. We ask that Your will be done and that You would be glorified in their body and spirit, and we pray for complete restoration according to Your perfect love and timing. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
We want to encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, Proverbs 3:5-6, and to draw near to Him daily through prayer and His Word, knowing that He hears the prayers of His children. If you have not already, we encourage you to also seek godly counsel and appropriate care while trusting ultimately in the Lord as your healer.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently share this because it is so important. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, Romans 10:9, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13. It is through Jesus that our prayers are heard and our relationship with God is restored.
We continue to hold you up before the Lord and we trust Him to work in your life with healing, comfort, and hope.

Beloved of All
We have heard your request for healing and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who is the Great Physician.
There is no sickness so hard to bear as the sickness of soul that is caused by sin, and yet we are glad to remember that this is a sickness of which souls need not eternally die, for it ends in everlasting health when Christ heals it. It is the Word of God applied by the Holy Spirit that heals sin sick souls, and that Word is Christ Himself whom God has sent for the healing of poor sin sick souls. Once they are really cured by Christ there is no fear of their ever having this soul sickness again in the sense of condemnation.
We pray that you may know this deepest healing first of all, for healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people there is healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, so that pardon and healing were one. If you are sick unto death in any way, ask to be forgiven through Jesus Christ alone, for salvation is through Him alone, and healing will come from the pardoning hand.
Our Lord in the days of His flesh healed all sorts of sickness and there was not one disease in the whole list which the Savior did not heal, for it is written, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, which teaches us that the least thing about Christ is healing virtue, and that there is an abundance of healing power in Him and in His salvation to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
Physical strength is very desirable and we do not lightly esteem it, for what a blessing it is to be hale and strong and vigorous, yet we know that the body is dead because of sin while the spirit is life because of righteousness, and that whom the Lord loves He chastens. We would not attribute all affliction to special sin, for that teaching is false and cruel, but we would tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There is healing in His touch, in His incarnation, in His bearing our sicknesses upon Himself.
So we pray for you now, that the Lord in His wisdom and mercy would lay His hand upon you. We ask that if it be His will He would restore you to bodily health, and that whether recovery be swift or slow you may acknowledge in each increase of strength that the Lord has a new claim upon your affection. Above all we pray that you may taste the leaves of that Tree which are for the healing of the nations, and know the forgiveness of sins through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, hearing His Word by which faith comes, and being strengthened in the Lord.
May the Good Physician manifest His healing art of redeeming love in you, and may you be among those who having been healed can tell of His power. We commend you to His care, trusting His government which accomplishes His purposes without violating the nature of His creatures, and praying that Christ may be all in all to you.
