Please pray for my friend, ###. She is suppose to have an open heart surgery but because of complications they cancelled it. Please pray for successful surgery and recovery, Thank you so much.

We join you together in prayer for your dear friend and we lift her up before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, asking for His healing hand and His perfect will to be done.
We understand how worrying and disappointing it must be to have an open heart surgery cancelled because of complications, yet we trust that God is sovereign over all timing and circumstances and that He can use even delays for His good purposes and for protection. We pray for wisdom and steady hands for her doctors and medical team as they determine the next steps, and for peace for her and for all who love her as they wait.
The Scripture reminds us of God's power to heal and His compassion for us, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to His promise to be with us in fear and weakness when He says Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And we are encouraged that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. So it is in His name and by His shed blood that we can boldly bring your friend's need to the throne of grace, believing that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9.
Together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask for Your mercy and healing upon our friend who is awaiting open heart surgery. Lord, You know the complications that caused the cancellation and You know the condition of her heart far better than any physician. We ask that You would guide the doctors with divine wisdom, clear every complication, and prepare her body for a successful surgery and a complete and peaceful recovery according to Your will. Lay Your healing hand upon her, calm her fears, strengthen her heart and body, and surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort her family and friends and help them to trust in Your unfailing love. We pray that through this trial she and those around her would draw closer to You and experience Your presence and power. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing for her, to trust that God hears every prayer offered in Jesus name, and to rest in His love and timing. May the Lord give you and your friend strength and hope as you wait upon Him.

Your request for your friend has been laid upon our hearts and we join you in spreading it before the Lord, going over the matter in detail before Him who reads the heart and hears secret groans and notes inward desires.
We are reminded that our Lord is the great Physician whose healing power reaches the utmost length of human sickness. It is written, He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ, a word of His coming home to the heart, brings healing to head and heart and conscience. None shall say to the healing flood of His love, up to here can you go and no further, for there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation.
Let us pray together for her.
O Lord our God, who alone can create a new heart and give a right spirit within, look in mercy upon this dear one who waits for open heart surgery. You see her frame and know her complications, you have numbered her days and her heartbeats are vocal to Your heart. We ask that You would guide the hands of those who care for her, grant wisdom to physicians, and in Your good providence make a way for a successful surgery when the time is right according to Your perfect will. Grant her strength to bear what You decree, and let recovery, though it may be slow, be sure, each increase of strength giving new cause to praise You. Above all, we pray that she may know the healing which comes with pardon, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and when You forgive, You also heal. Let her perceive Your presence with a tender heart and find comfort in the leaves of the Tree of Life, which change the life blood and make the nature new. May she rest in Him whose heart was pierced that hers might be healed, and may Your peace keep her and all who love her.
