We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up our dear sister Karin in this time of deep physical struggle and fear. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We stand in the gap for Karin, declaring Your power over rheumatoid arthritis and every other affliction that seeks to destroy her body.
Lord, we ask that You would grant Karin wisdom for the difficult decisions before her. The fear of the final medication and its risks weighs heavily on her heart, as does the uncertainty of surgery with her current condition. We pray that You would guide her steps and give her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May she sense Your presence walking beside her through every medical appointment and procedure.
We specifically pray for the electronic device option - that Karin would be approved for it without delay and that the surgery would be successful. We ask that You would prepare her body to respond well to this treatment, that inflammation would decrease, and that the disease would go into remission. We declare that her joints would be restored, her pain would diminish, and her strength would return according to Your perfect will.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that tries to grip Karin's heart. We speak 2 Timothy 1:7 over her life: "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We pray that she would experience Your perfect love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). When the enemy whispers lies about the future, may she hear Your voice speaking truth and hope.
We also pray for Karin's emotional and spiritual well-being during this trial. May she find comfort in Your Word and strength in Your promises. When she feels weak, may she remember that Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We ask that You would surround her with believers who will encourage her, pray for her, and help meet her practical needs.
Lord, we know that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Even in this difficult season, we pray that Karin would see Your hand at work and grow closer to You. May this trial produce perseverance, character, and hope in her life (Romans 5:3-4).
We declare healing over Karin's body in Jesus' mighty name. We speak life to every cell, tissue, and joint that has been affected by this disease. We command the inflammation to cease and the pain to subside. We pray for complete restoration of function and mobility.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your good plans for Karin's life. May she experience Your healing touch in ways that bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
