We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is experiencing headaches, dizziness, and sickness. Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon him. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician who can restore health and bring comfort.
Lord, we also pray for peace and strength for both of you during this time. May this trial draw you both closer to the foot of the cross, where true comfort and hope are found. We are reminded in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We ask that you seek the Lord together in prayer and faith, trusting in His perfect will.
However, we must address the matter of your relationship with biblical clarity. Scripture is clear that intimacy and emotional attachment outside of marriage do not align with God’s design. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, we are warned, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." If you are not married, we strongly encourage you to honor God by pursuing purity and setting boundaries that reflect His holiness.
Additionally, the goal of your relationship should not merely be companionship but a godly marriage centered on Christ. Ephesians 5:22-33 outlines the sacred covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, where both submit to Christ and to one another in love. If it is God’s will for you to be together, we pray that you would seek Him first, allowing Him to guide your steps toward a marriage that honors Him. Proverbs 19:14 reminds us, "House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."
We must also gently remind you that our access to God and His healing power comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this dear one has not yet surrendered his life to Christ, we pray that he would come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first step toward true healing—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Heal this dear one of his physical ailments, Lord, and draw both of their hearts closer to You. If it is Your will for them to be married, prepare their hearts and guide them in Your ways. Help them to honor You in their relationship, seeking purity, wisdom, and Your perfect timing. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
