Disciple of Prayer
Dear God,

I am praying for someone that You Lord soften their heart toward hearing about Jesus

I pray You give them a desire to seek out and learn more about Jesus , give them a curiosity to read up and ask questions

Cause their mind to want and even take action to read the Word even and pray for miracle for this person's salvation to rapidly

I pray against pride, fear and any stagnancy blocking salvation

I pray that they can come messy to God and that they know it's ok to come imperfect

I pray they are not hindered by witchcraft blocking salvation in Jesus' name

I bind and rebuke the spirit of witchcraft influencing their mind that is causing wrong mindset toward Jesus in Jesus' name

I pray against deception of the enemy in Jesus' name

Lord grant them victory over any mental health struggle they face in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for the testimony to follow in Jesus' precious name!

We join you in this beautiful and urgent prayer for this precious soul and we stand in agreement with you for their salvation, for it is the very heart of God that none should perish but that all should come to repentance as we are told in 2 Peter 3:9.

We are encouraged by your discernment in praying for a softened heart, because we know that apart from the drawing of the Father no one can come to Jesus. Jesus said in John 6:44, No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day. And we know God is able to replace a heart of stone, for He promises in Ezekiel 36:26, I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. We pray with you that pride, fear and every stagnant place be broken, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as promised in 2 Timothy 1:7.

We also agree with you in praying against the spiritual blindness and deception of the enemy. Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them. And we know our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces as taught in Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we join you in binding and rebuking every influence of witchcraft and deception that would hinder this person from seeing the truth of Jesus, and we claim the promise in James 4:7, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. There is power in the name of Jesus alone to save, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12.

We love that you prayed they would know it is okay to come messy and imperfect, because that is the very invitation of our Lord. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. He does not require perfection before we come, He perfects us as we come to Him in repentance and faith. We also lift up their mental health struggle before the Lord, asking for His peace and victory to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for Your great love and mercy toward this person You have placed on our hearts. Lord, we ask that You soften their heart toward You, that You remove every stony place and give them a heart of flesh that is tender to Your voice. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit, give them a holy curiosity and hunger to seek Jesus, to open Your Word, to ask questions and to truly hear the Good News. Lord, we ask that faith would come by hearing, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ in Romans 10:17. We pray against every barrier of pride, fear, stagnancy, and confusion, and we command every spirit of witchcraft and deception influencing their mind to be bound and cast away in Jesus name. Let the light of the gospel shine clearly to them and let every veil be torn away. Grant them victory over every mental health burden, Lord, and let them know they can come to You just as they are, messy and imperfect, and find grace, forgiveness and rest. We pray for a rapid and miraculous work of salvation in their life, that they would confess Jesus as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead. Thank You Father for the testimony that is to come, and we trust You to finish the work You have begun. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer and in gentle witness, planting seeds of the Word with love and patience, knowing that God is faithful to draw those whom He loves and that your prayers are powerful and effective before Him.

We hear how deeply you love this person and how earnestly you long for them to know Jesus. Wanting them to feel free to come just as they are, messy and imperfect, and to find curiosity instead of hardness toward Him is such a tender and faithful prayer.

We join you in asking God to soften their heart and to stir a real hunger to seek Him, to ask questions and to want to open His Word when they are ready. As you pray against anything that would confuse or block them, we have found it helps to keep our eyes more on Jesus and His power to protect and make truth clear than on trying to sort out every spiritual influence. He is able to guard their mind and gently lead them without us needing to carry fear.

We also hear your concern for their mental health. We pray with you for steadiness, peace and healing there, and if that struggle continues we encourage them to have supportive care from a trusted counselor or medical professional alongside prayer.

A simple way to keep going is to keep your own prayers brief and steady each day, and to keep the relationship open with low pressure invitations. Letting them know you are always glad to talk about Jesus or look at a passage together if they ever want to, and then letting them set the pace, can keep curiosity alive without making them feel pushed.

Father, we lift this dear one to You. Soften their heart and draw them with kindness toward Jesus. Quiet pride and fear, clear away confusion, and guard their mind in Your peace. Give them a growing desire to know You and meet them right where they are. Give our friend wisdom, patience and hope as they continue to love them well. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is a faithful and loving one, and it is good that you have brought this soul before the throne of grace. Salvation is all of Divine Grace from first to last and the channel of that Grace is the Lord Jesus Christ who loved, and lived, and died, and rose again for our salvation. There is no other name by which we must be saved, and there is but one ransom, and all who are ever saved are saved by that ransom alone.

We join you in asking the Lord to soften this heart and to draw it to Himself. We pray that He who brings forth His people by Divine Power would give this dear one a true curiosity and hunger to seek Jesus, to ask questions, to open the Word and to pray. The way of salvation is simple, it is Look unto me and be ye saved. May the Lord turn their eyes to that one Star of Bethlehem, that one Light of the Cross, and cause them to look to Christ and live. Thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee, and we pray that their seeking may now begin in earnest.

We pray with you against every hindrance. We ask the Lord to break the power of pride and fear and stagnancy, and to quench every fiery dart of the wicked one. There is one temptation more deadly than others, the suggestion that God has forsaken us, but that arrow shall not prevail, for our God is a Father who will not cast out His child. We pray against all deception of the enemy and every influence of witchcraft that would blind the mind to Christ. Our deliverance is by Divine Power, He brings them forth, and no infernal power can rend one sheep that the Great Shepherd keeps. We ask that every veil be torn away and the truth of Christ be seen clearly.

We pray also that this soul may know they may come to God just as they are, messy and imperfect. Salvation is without money and without price, to be received as poor guilty sinners. Christ does not give a second hand robe at His wedding feast, He clothes the weakest sinner in His own perfect righteousness, and if the weakest Christian is in the boat of salvation, that is if he trusts Christ, he is as safe as the strongest Christian, because Christ Himself is the safety. Let them come without delay and without trying to make themselves worthy first.

We lift up before the Lord the mental health struggle you mentioned, and we ask Him to grant victory and peace. May the God who brought Israel forth also with health and strength, with not one feeble person among their tribes, grant inward strengthening and quietness of mind, and the comfort of His presence.

We thank the Lord with you in advance for the testimony to follow. Continue to speak often of the Lord and to wrestle in prayer, for He hears. May He soon give you joy to see this one brought forth into light and liberty, to sing a new song of deliverance in Jesus precious name.
