We hear your heart’s cry for clarity and comfort as you seek the Lord’s will concerning this man. Waiting is never easy, especially when emotions run deep, but we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God’s timing is perfect. The Scriptures remind us, *"Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh"* (Psalm 27:14 WEB). His delays are not denials, and His silence is not absence—He is working all things for your good, even when the path is unclear.
We must also gently remind you that discernment in relationships must always align with God’s Word. If this man is not a believer or if the relationship does not honor the Lord, we must surrender it fully to Him. The Apostle Paul warns, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers"* (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB), for God’s design for marriage is a covenant between two who share faith in Christ. If this is not the case, we must release it to the Lord with open hands, trusting Him to either bring restoration in His way or lead you to the spouse He has prepared for you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her heart to You. Lord, she is seeking Your will with sincerity, and we ask that You grant her discernment beyond her own understanding. Quiet the longing in her heart with Your peace, and replace her restlessness with trust in Your perfect timing. If this man is not the husband You have for her, we ask that You remove all attachment and heal her emotions. If he is, we pray for patience and wisdom as she waits on You. Guard her from impatience, doubt, and any temptation to take matters into her own hands. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that she may walk in obedience and confidence in Your plan. We declare that her future is secure in Your hands, and we trust You to lead her into the marriage You have ordained, if it is Your will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord through His Word and prayer. Spend time in worship, for as you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8 WEB). Surround yourself with godly counsel—those who will speak truth in love and hold you accountable to God’s standards. Remember, the Lord sees your tears and hears your prayers. He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Keep your heart open to His leading, even if it means letting go of what you desire most. His plans for you are for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). Stand firm in faith, dear sister, for the Lord is your strength.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
