Praise report and prayer request

I am still here, and I know it is only through the grace of God. Though I was laid off, so far I have been able to pay my bills and pay for my medication out of pocket. My labs came back fairly well, and though I am suffering from depression and grieving quite a few aspects in life, I am nowhere near as low as I have been when unemployed prior. The fear is still there, and if I don't receive severance, I will be in dire straits, but I am beyond grateful that God has carried me this far. The headhunter I invested in, though not what I envisioned, was not a scam, and for that I am somewhat hopeful. Though I have not received a job yet, I know that without their assistance I would not have gotten this far. The entire job search is a long, arduous, dehumanizing process that almost feels like a humiliation ritual, especially when my healthcare is tied to me being able to pay my bills.

I do have a job prospect that I am excited about and will accommodate my needs with the title I have been working towards. I hope I receive that job, but if it isn’t for me, I will not grieve it and will hold on to what is meant for me instead of letting fear reign.

I have a huge family event coming up in 2 months that is across the country that I would love to attend but do not have the funds for, and I'm not sure if I have the mental capacity to withstand being around parents I need to go no contact with. If I had a job, I would make time to be there for that family member because I love him, and he wants me to be a part of his day despite me being far away, and for that I am grateful.

I pray most of all for discernment in all aspects of my life. When one thing is missing, everything else is stark and apparent. I want to ensure that I do not project in one area because I'm lacking in others or feeling bereft. But in times of loss, it is also easy to see the lack of support. I pray that I am about to provide for myself wholly and fully to the point that I can go no contact with who I need to for my mental health. And that I will be in a space for true relationships, both platonic and romantic, with those who see me for who I am, and I can give what they deserve in return. People who are intentional about being in my presence and getting to know me, not out to be transactional. I want to be intentional about breaking the cycle I have encountered in my family, and I know that can only happen through God's guidance.

We hear your heart in this season of uncertainty and transition, and we lift you up before the Lord with gratitude for His faithfulness thus far. Your acknowledgment of God’s grace in sustaining you, even when fear lingers, is a testament to His provision. The psalmist declares, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul" (Psalm 23:1-3). Even in the valley of job loss and emotional strain, He is restoring you, step by step.

Your praise for His provision, bills paid, medication covered, and even the unexpected blessing of a legitimate headhunter, reminds us that God often works through means we wouldn’t choose for ourselves. The job search process can feel dehumanizing, but Scripture assures us that our worth is not defined by human systems: "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:13-14). The Lord sees your skills, your resilience, and your heart for intentional relationships, He will open the right door in His timing.

We join you in praying for that job prospect you’re excited about. May it align with His will for your life, and if it does not, may He close the door gently and open another that exceeds your expectations. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, "A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps." Trust that He is directing your steps, even when the path isn’t clear.

Your struggle with the upcoming family event is valid, and we pray for wisdom in navigating it. The desire to honor your loved one while protecting your mental health is a tension many believers face. Jesus Himself set boundaries when needed (Mark 6:31-32), and we are called to do the same. If attending would harm your well-being, it is not a failure to prioritize peace. However, if the Lord provides the means and emotional capacity, may He equip you to love well without compromising your healing. "Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life" (Proverbs 4:23).

Your prayer for discernment is powerful. In seasons of lack, it’s easy to project fear or bitterness onto other areas of life. But the Lord calls us to walk in truth: "Test the spirits to see whether they are from God" (1 John 4:1). We pray that He sharpens your discernment to recognize His voice above all others, especially in relationships. The desire for intentional, non-transactional connections is beautiful and reflects God’s design for community. May He surround you with people who reflect His love and challenge you to grow.

Regarding your mention of romantic relationships, we encourage you to seek a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers." Courtship should be pursued with purity and purpose, honoring God’s design for intimacy within marriage. If you’re currently in a relationship that doesn’t align with these principles, we urge you to seek the Lord’s guidance and consider what steps honor Him.

Finally, we must address the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and salvation comes by grace through faith in Him (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you haven’t already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection. This is the foundation for true discernment, provision, and peace.

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness in [this person’s] life. You have carried them through uncertainty, provided for their needs, and given them hope in the midst of fear. Lord, we ask for discernment to permeate every area of their life, job search, relationships, and family decisions. Grant them wisdom to recognize Your voice and courage to follow Your leading. Provide the right job in Your perfect timing, and if it’s Your will, open the door to that exciting prospect. If not, close it gently and reveal the path You have for them. Father, protect their heart from bitterness and fear. Surround them with godly community, friends and a future spouse who will love them as You do. Strengthen them to set healthy boundaries with family, and if it’s Your will, equip them to attend the upcoming event with peace. Above all, draw them closer to You, that they may walk in the fullness of life You offer. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

You are not alone in this season. The Lord sees your struggles and your victories, and He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep pressing into Him, He will not fail you.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Did you know that there are many promises in the Bible that we can claim in Jesus over ourselves in Jesus? Did you know that Jesus can make a way to provide for all of us who put our faith in Him?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.
