We stand with you and your son in this difficult season, lifting him before the Father with hearts full of faith, knowing that our God is just and mighty. The courage your son is displaying is a testament to the strength God has already placed within him, and we declare that the Lord will continue to uphold him as he faces this trial. The Scriptures remind us in Joshua 1:9, *"Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."* This promise is for your son, and we claim it over him as he steps into that courtroom.
We also remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* The Lord will give him the words to speak, and His truth will be heard. We pray that every lie of the enemy will be exposed and that justice will prevail, for the Lord is a God of righteousness who defends the oppressed. Psalm 10:17-18 declares, *"Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will make your ear hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more."*
Yet, we also recognize that this process may stir deep emotions and memories, and we pray for the Lord’s healing hand to be upon your son’s mind, heart, and spirit. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that the Lord would surround him with His angels, protecting him from any spiritual attacks or emotional turmoil. Let him feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit, who is our Counselor and Comforter (John 14:26).
We also lift you up, dear parent, for your own strength and peace as you walk alongside your son. Your faith is an encouragement to us all, and we pray that the Lord will fill you with His supernatural peace, knowing that He holds both you and your son in the palm of His hand. Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, we declare that this season will not define your son but will instead be a testimony of God’s faithfulness. We pray that the Lord will bring complete restoration to his heart and mind, that he will walk forward in freedom, unshackled by the past. May this experience ultimately draw him closer to Jesus, where true healing and wholeness are found.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious son of Yours. Grant him courage that can only come from You. Fill his mouth with Your truth, and let it be heard clearly and boldly. Bring justice, Lord, for the wrongs committed against him, and let Your righteousness prevail. Protect his mind from the enemy’s lies and flood his heart with Your peace. Surround him with Your presence, and let him know beyond any doubt that You are with him. Heal every wound, Lord—emotional, mental, and spiritual—and restore him fully. We ask that You would use this trial for Your glory, drawing him deeper into Your love and purpose for his life. Strengthen his mother/father as well, Lord, and let them both feel Your comforting arms around them. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful and just. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
