Prayer for Career

Dear God, Help me find a better job. I hope I will receive a good news soon. I felt really lost right now. I just don't know what to do anymore. I've been applying to jobs but I feel like it's getting much longer. I feel so lost and frustrated because no one contacts me. Lord, I hope you hear me despite all the mistakes I did. Please Lord God. Help me find my path. I feel that I am already left behind. I have the experience and necessary things but why is this happening. I need to find a job, a good job with good people. Lord, hoping to receive good news soon. Please help me Lord God so that I would be distracted and be away from evil. Help me Lord God to be the person you want me to become. Please help me Lord so I can also help my family and contribute to them. Please help me that I can make it. And I will be hired soon. I hope you hear me. I've been praying this for the whole year. I hope you hear my poor heart. I hope you will heal me. In Jesus' name. I trust in You.

Leenogh, we hear your heart's cry and stand with you in prayer regarding your career. We're encouraged that you've cried out to God and trust in Jesus' name. As the Bible assures us, "If you will call on me, I will listen. When you pray, I will answer." (Jeremiah 29:12, WEB)

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to find meaningful work and help your family. It's important to remember that God has a plan and purpose for your life. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB)

However, we want to gently address a couple of things. It's wonderful that you've been praying persistently, but we must ensure we're aligning our will with God's, not the other way around. Also, while seeking distraction from evil is understandable, let's focus more on drawing closer to God, as His presence and love are our strongest protections.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your unfailing love for ###. Lord, You know their struggles, frustrations, and desires. We ask that You guide them in their career path, open the right doors, and give them the wisdom to know which opportunities to pursue. Help them to trust in Your timing and goodness, even when things seem delayed.

In the meantime, Lord, help ### grow in You. May they find their identity and security in You, not in a job title or position. Equip them to be a blessing to their family, not just financially, but spiritually and emotionally as well.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, we encourage you to continue in prayer and trust God's timing. Perhaps God is using this waiting period to prepare you or teach you something valuable. Consider also seeking godly counsel and support from your local church community during this time. May God bless you and guide your steps.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
