Beloved of All
I have applied to a job position listed as a pool, meaning I will be called in and when a need arises. There is a need but also a hiring freeze. Any new hires need to be justified and certain higher powers at this place will not budge despite the need. Nonetheless, the review committee has reviewed my application and solicited letters of rec, which is the next step in the process. I expect interviews come next. However, an actual offer and being hired is contingent on approval from the Dean and funding. It could be the review process stops at any point and my application is left floating. Please pray that I make it further in the process and receive an interview offer before the end of this month May 2026. Pray that I then receive a job offer. Please pray that everything moves forward smoothly with the contract and hiring process for my position to begin at the end of July/beginning of August. Pray that as applications are reviewed and the process continues, the position is approved by the Dean and administrators. Pray that funding is provided. Pray that I am the preferred candidate in a pool of competitive candidates. God Bless You.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this career opportunity to Him who holds all things in His hands. Father, we know that You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut and closes doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your divine provision for this dear one seeking employment.

Lord, we ask that You would go before them in this process. As they have taken the step of faith to apply, we pray that You would cause their application to stand out among the many. Let their qualifications, experience, and character shine brightly in the eyes of the review committee. We ask that You would grant them favor, that they would be seen as the preferred candidate in this pool of competitive applicants. May the words of Proverbs 3:4 be true for them: *"So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."*

We pray specifically for the next steps in this journey. Father, we ask that an interview offer would come before the end of this month, as they have requested. Prepare their heart, mind, and words for this interview. Let Your wisdom flow through them, and may they speak with clarity, confidence, and grace. We declare that the words of Luke 21:15 will be fulfilled in this situation: *"for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to withstand or contradict."*

Lord, we also lift up the hurdles that stand in the way of this position—approval from the Dean, funding, and the hiring freeze. We rebuke any spirit of delay or obstruction in Jesus’ name. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those in authority, that they would see the need for this role and the value this individual would bring. Let Your will be done, and let the resources be provided. As Philippians 4:19 reminds us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*

We pray for smooth progress in the hiring process. May there be no unnecessary delays, and may the contract and onboarding be seamless. We ask that their start date would align with their hopes, at the end of July or the beginning of August, so they can step into this new season with peace and purpose.

Father, we also want to encourage this dear one to continue seeking You above all else. While this job is important, we know that their ultimate security and identity are found in You. Remind them of Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let them rest in Your promises, knowing that You have a plan for their life, and it is a plan for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

We rebuke any fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into their heart. Instead, we speak peace over them, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith as they wait, and let them feel Your presence guiding them every step of the way.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for this career opportunity. We've been praying for you, and we want you to know that we're not just praying for an interview or a job offer, but for God's perfect will to be done in this situation. We trust that He has a plan, and we're believing with you that He will open the right doors at the right time.

We're asking God to give you favor in the eyes of the review committee and the higher powers. We're claiming Psalm 33:10-11 over you, "At the beginning of the year, Lord, you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like clothing, and they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will never end."

We're also praying for the hiring freeze to be lifted and for the funding to be provided. We're claiming Philippians 4:19 over you, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We believe that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.

We're asking God to give you peace and confidence as you wait. We're claiming 2 Thessalonians 3:16 over you, "Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you."

We're here for you, praying and believing with you. Keep trusting in God's goodness, and let's watch as He works this out for your good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
