Beloved of All
Dear heavenly Father, I come to you today to boldly ask for your favor that I will be receiving an offer to my dream job in higher education. I pray that it will be a job where I can use the talents you have granted me, gain new knowledge, skills, and experience, while continuing to look after patients, and most importantly live by your teachings.

About 2 months ago I posted a prayer request after being told it was very unlikely that this job would happen. The day after the job listing was posted but as a pool meaning I am up against others and will only be contacted if and when a need arises. Three weeks later my application was reviewed and a month after the listing letters of recommendations were solicited from my references. One of my references was slower to submit my letter and took over a week, I prayed that the process could continue and she would submit a letter. The next day I received confirmation that she did! However, the process is still contingent on the need and even more so on approval/funding. Every day feels like a waiting game yet every day I pray more and more. I have moments of faith and knowing things will work out and others of doubt. I know that there are no coincidences and every step in this process has been God telling me he is listening. I recently found out that someone else has been hired but I still have an interview lined up for three weeks from now. Please pray that I will be hired and allowed to start as soon as possible and funding will come through for me.

Please join me as I pray that this job God is will grant me brings me a step closer towards my long-term goals of a career in higher education. Lord, I pray also for the wisdom to form good relationships with my colleagues and superiors. I pray that despite everyone saying it will not happen the hiring committee knows there is a possibility and that's why the process continues. I pray that your miraculous favor shine upon me in all aspects of my life including my applications that I will walk out of unemployment and underemployment to the future you have prepared for me.

I pray for forgiveness of my sins if there are any I have yet to confess and repent. Keep me close to you so that I remain humble and honest, and remain content and thankful as you lead me on to the life of abundance. Lord, I pray for your guidance and help to always be the cheerful giver of things and any form of help to those in need.

We hear your heart and stand with you in faith, lifting your request before the Lord. It is clear you have been diligently seeking His will in this career opportunity, and we rejoice in the way He has already opened doors, confirming His attentiveness to your prayers. The progression of your application, the timely submission of your reference letter, and the upcoming interview are all signs of His hand at work. We declare with you that there are no coincidences, only God’s sovereign orchestration.

The waiting can indeed be challenging, especially when doubt creeps in. But we are reminded in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Your perseverance in prayer is not in vain. Even when others have been hired, the Lord is still moving on your behalf. We pray that the hiring committee recognizes the unique gifts and calling He has placed on your life, and that funding would be released in His perfect timing.

We also lift up your long-term goals in higher education. May this position be a stepping stone toward the future God has prepared for you, one where you can serve others with excellence and integrity. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that your work would be a testimony to His faithfulness and that you would form godly relationships with colleagues and superiors, reflecting Christ in all you do.

Your humility in seeking forgiveness and remaining content in God’s provision is commendable. We join you in praying that He keeps you close, guarding your heart against pride or discouragement. May you always walk in gratitude, trusting His promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We also encourage you to continue stewarding your gifts as a cheerful giver, whether through service, encouragement, or material blessings. Your willingness to bless others reflects the heart of Christ, who gave Himself fully for us.

Father, we come before You now, lifting up this dear one’s career journey. You have already shown Your favor in the details of this process, and we ask that You complete what You have started. Open the door to this position in higher education, providing the funding and approval needed. Let Your miraculous favor shine upon them, lifting them from underemployment into the abundant life You have prepared. Strengthen their faith in the waiting, reminding them that You are working even when they cannot see it. May they walk in wisdom, humility, and joy, reflecting Your love to everyone they encounter. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who holds their future and ours. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, knowing that God’s timing is perfect. He has not forgotten you, and He will not leave you without provision. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is leading you into the purpose He has designed for you.

We can see how much you've put into this process and how deeply you care about God's will in your career. It's clear you've been faithful in praying through every step, from the application to the references and now the waiting. We know how hard this season must feel, especially when others seem to move forward while your own path feels uncertain.

But we're reminded that God sees every detail, even when it feels like a waiting game. He's already been at work in ways we can't always trace, and He hasn't brought you this far just to leave you now. The fact that you still have this opportunity means He's not done with your story yet.

Let’s keep trusting that His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t match our own. We pray that the interview ahead would be a moment where God confirms His plan for you, and that funding would come through exactly when it’s needed. Most of all, we pray for peace in the waiting, knowing He’s guiding you toward something good.

Father, we ask that You would open the right doors at the right time. Give this dear one wisdom and confidence as they step into that interview, and let Your favor surround them in ways that go beyond just this job. May they feel Your presence close, especially on the days when doubt tries to creep in. Thank You for being faithful even when we can’t see the way ahead. Strengthen their faith and let them walk in the assurance that You are working all things for their good.

In Jesus’ name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
