I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We hear your heart’s desire for a godly spouse who will walk alongside you in faith and life. The longing for a companion who shares your love for the Lord and the beauty of His creation is a good and holy desire, for Scripture tells us, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22). Yet we must always remember that our ultimate fulfillment is found in Christ alone, and any earthly relationship must reflect His love, not replace it.
First, we must address the language of "partner" in your request. While we understand the intent, the Bible calls us to seek a *spouse*—a husband or wife—within the covenant of marriage, which is sacred and ordained by God. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to pray not merely for a companion, but for a husband who will lead you both in godliness, mutual respect, and devotion to the Lord.
