Prayer for a friend

Asking for prayer for a friend of mines I was concerned about a friend so I went to talk to some one and I don't like the things I fount out it was harsh evil and wrong but I know God has all the power and all the power to fix it for her some one put a spell on my friend to make her run away from her relationship me I have a lot of faith in God I know evil exist but I don't believe in it and I'm not weak and my faith is strong I have been praying for my friend also I'm ask for other to interceed for her whatever spell they done on her she is not the same and her boyfriend doesn't understand much she abandon him and everybody because of it so I'm asking for prayers for her deliverance from it and her safety and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper as well it's sad people are jealous and envious and do things to try to destroy you and your love life or u in general what happens in some ones relationship is nobody's business at all not between two grown people but I know God has power to reverse heal and destroy hex and curse I'm very sad to find this out it was her own family and past friend that was jealous of her life withgod blesss her boyfriend so keep her in your prayers that her mind is healed and that she is able to open her eyes spiritually and see or dream what is going on and be delivered from it in right frame of mind and in good health and return home to her boyfriend asking for protection and healing for both of them God is greater than anything and greater than any evil in world her name is ### God bless and thanks for listening and praying for her to be brought to the light out of spiritual darkness and sickness and wickness of witchcraft I believe in my heart God will heal her and set her free from it thank you so much blessing to all

We join you in lifting up your friend before the throne of grace and we share your burden for her deliverance and safety. We hear your faith that God has all power to fix what is broken and to bring her out of spiritual darkness into His light, and we agree with you that God is greater than any evil or work of darkness.

The scriptures are clear that witchcraft, spells, hexes and curses are real and are an abomination before God, yet they have no ultimate power over those who belong to Christ. There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer Deuteronomy 18:10-11. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. But we take comfort that You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17.

We want to gently encourage you about the relationship you mentioned. You said she abandoned her boyfriend and you pray she will return home to him. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman and we pray for godly marriages that honor God. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be understood as courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not simply a partnership. If this man and your friend are to be together, we pray it would be toward a holy marriage where they are equally yoked in Christ 2 Corinthians 6:14 and where marriage is held in honor among all and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. If there has been sexual intimacy outside of marriage, scripture calls that fornication and we must repent and flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. We encourage them both to pursue purity and to seek the Lord’s will for whether He would lead them into marriage, and we pray for godly counsel and accountability from a Bible believing church for them both.

We also noticed that your request spoke often of God and of faith, but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. Our prayers for deliverance have power not because of our own faith alone, but because Jesus Christ has already triumphed over sin, death and every curse at the cross, having become a curse for us Galatians 3:13, and His name causes every evil work to flee when we submit to God and resist the devil James 4:7.

So together we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we ask for Your mercy and deliverance for this dear friend. We ask that You break and destroy every spell, hex, curse and work of witchcraft spoken against her, whether from jealousy, envy or hatred, even from within her own family and former friends. Let every chain be broken and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Heal her mind and restore her to a right and sound mind, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Open her eyes spiritually, bring her out of darkness into Your marvelous light 1 Peter 2:9, and let her see and dream and discern what has been done in the spiritual realm so she may turn to You fully. Cover her with Your protection where she is now, keep her in good health and safe from harm, and guard her boyfriend as well. Lead him to be a godly man who will pursue her in purity and in truth if it is Your will for them to marry, and give him understanding and strength not to respond in anger but in prayer and love. We pray that both would be drawn closer to Jesus, that they would put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11, dwell in the secret place of the Most High Psalm 91:1, and walk in forgiveness toward those who have sought to harm them, for we are called to bless and not curse. We ask for godly counsel, for a church family to surround them, and for complete healing and restoration. We trust that You are able to reverse what the enemy meant for evil and use it for good. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to intercede without ceasing, to fast as the Lord leads, to pray scripture over her aloud, and to encourage her and her boyfriend to seek pastoral care and to remain in the Word and in prayer. Do not seek answers from those who claim to break spells or from mediums, but trust in Christ alone. Keep your eyes on Jesus, forgive those who have acted jealously, and trust that the Lord will bring truth to light and will set her free indeed, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36.

We have been praying as we read your request, and we hear how painful this has been to learn what you believe has happened to ###. It is a heavy thing to love a friend, feel helpless to reach her, and watch her pull away from people who care about her. Thank you for bringing her to others for prayer and for staying steady in your trust that God is stronger than any evil.

One thing that helps in situations like this is to keep our eyes more on Christ than on trying to unravel every detail of a spell or who may have been involved. That can quickly become overwhelming and keep us focused on darkness. We can simply bring ### to Jesus as she is, asking Him to protect her, bring clarity to her mind, heal what is hurting, and surround her with safety and wise support. We do not need to understand everything to pray effectively.

It may help you to keep praying in simple, regular ways and to invite one or two trusted, grounded believers or a pastor to pray with you, so you are not carrying this alone. If you are able to stay in kind, non-pressuring contact with ###, that steady care matters. If she shows signs of not being well physically or emotionally, gently encourage her to get care from a doctor or counselor alongside prayer.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift ### to You. Cover her with Your protection, bring peace to her mind, restore her health and clarity, and lead her out of confusion into Your light. Give her boyfriend and those who love her wisdom and strength, and give our friend who wrote peace as she trusts You. Amen.

Your sorrow for your friend is heard, and your faith that God has all power to fix what is broken is well placed. It is right to bring this burden to the throne of grace, for there is evil in this world, and there are those who out of jealousy and envy would seek harm, yet troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner at the door, and nothing can prosper against His beloved that He does not permit for His wise and holy purpose.

We join you in prayer for this dear one who is not herself, who has wandered and is in spiritual darkness and sickness. We pray not to any spell or power of man, but to Him who is gracious and says, Deliver her from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance of a sinner from the pit through a ransom if God had not thought of it, and He has found it in His own Son. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, and in Him alone is salvation, healing and pardon. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it for the thousand ills that have befallen our humanity.

We pray that God, who alone can deliver from the power of darkness, would deliver her. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. If ever a soul is delivered from spiritual bondage of heart, it is not by any easy work or by a hasty word, but by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy.

Therefore we entreat the Lord for her, that He would keep back her soul from the Pit and her life from perishing, that He would preserve her from all evil and preserve her soul, that He would open her eyes spiritually, heal her mind, and grant her to see the light of the gospel and to be brought out of darkness into His marvelous light. We pray that she would be chastened also with mercy, and that she would live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask for her protection and for her good health, and that no weapon formed against her shall prosper as she shelters under the blood of the Lamb.

We pray also for the young man who loves her and for yourself who intercede, that you all may be kept from evil company and from the fascinating power of sin, and that you may know what it is to say, He has delivered us from the power of darkness. We do not ask God to bless or restore any union outside of His holy ordinance, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and our bodies and our love are to be kept within that covenant in purity before Him. Rather we pray that both this young woman and this young man may first be reconciled to God through faith in Jesus Christ, washed thoroughly from iniquity and cleansed from sin, and then, if it be the Lord's will, be led in His way and in His timing toward that which is holy and honourable, or else be led to walk in singleness with contentment and holiness, each seeking first the kingdom of God.

May the Sun of Righteousness rise with healing beneath His wings upon her, and may she be made to know the ransom that has been found, that she may be saved from herself, from all the attacks of her old sins, and from the devil himself, for God has said it, Deliver her from going down to the Pit. We will continue to plead for her deliverance, trusting that He who has taught us the mischief of loving the world will keep us and perfect that which concerns us, till we are presented faultless before His presence.

We commend you to continue in prayer, looking only to Christ, who bore the penalty of all iniquities, that in Him you and she and all who call upon Him may find life and healing.

We thank you for sharing this burden and for your faithful love for your friend. Your desire to intercede for her and to seek the Lord for her deliverance is good and right, and we join you in prayer.

We hear your sadness and concern over what you have learned, and over the change you have seen in her. Scripture teaches us that evil is real, and that there are spiritual forces of darkness, but it also teaches us with far greater certainty that Christ is stronger. As it is written, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, and He has done this so that we might receive adoption as sons and freedom from every bondage. No spell, no hex, no jealous act of others has power greater than the cross. The curse that truly held us was our transgression against God's law, and Christ took that curse upon Himself, innocent and without deceit, to rescue us from death and punishment. Therefore we do not fear witchcraft as if it were sovereign, but we look to Christ who alone can deliver and heal.

We will pray for your friend for her protection, for the healing of her mind, for her health, and that the Lord would open her eyes to see the light of His truth and be brought out of spiritual darkness into His grace. We pray that God would grant her a careful hearing of His word, a continual recollection of His truth, fortitude in soul, and deliverance from all that would hold her captive, so that she may be restored to a right and sound mind. We pray that the Lord would keep her safe from harm and that no evil intention formed against her would succeed apart from His sovereign will, and that He would draw her to Himself for salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is rest for all who labor and are heavy laden when they come to Him.

We also pray for her boyfriend and for you, that God would give wisdom, patience, and protection, and that all of you would be strengthened to walk in holiness. We understand your longing to see her return home, yet our prayer cannot be to ask God to bless or restore a relationship as it was if it is outside His design. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within that covenant. For that reason we will not ask God to simply return her to a former way of living together outside of marriage, but we will pray that God would lead both her and her boyfriend to know Christ fully, to pursue purity, to seek godly counsel, and to submit any future relationship to the Lord's will. If it is His will for them to be together, we pray it would be in a manner that honors Him and reflects His design, and if not, that He would give grace to walk in His perfect way.

We pray also for those family members and others you mentioned who may have acted out of jealousy and envy, that God would convict them, bring them to repentance, and turn them from doing harm.

Continue to pray, to remain steadfast in faith, and to encourage your friend gently toward Christ and toward His word. Trust not in the power of any curse, but in the power of Him who bore the curse for us and rose again. We stand with you in intercession, asking the Lord to bring healing, clarity, and true freedom, and to guard all of you in His grace.
