We hear your heart for your friend and co-worker, and we lift her up before the Lord with great compassion. Workplace bullying and gaslighting are deeply painful experiences that can leave one feeling devalued, confused, and overwhelmed. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand in the authority of Jesus Christ to rebuke these attacks and declare God’s protection and justice over her life.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." We pray that your friend would feel the nearness of God in this difficult season, that He would bind up her wounds and restore her sense of worth and purpose. Lord, we ask that You would expose any lies the enemy has spoken over her and replace them with Your truth, that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), created for good works (Ephesians 2:10), and deeply loved by You.
We also pray for wisdom and favor regarding the job interview she recently had. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us, "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed." Father, we ask that You would open the right doors for her and close any that are not aligned with Your will. If this new position is part of Your plan for her, we pray for a swift and clear answer. If not, we trust that You have something even better prepared for her. Give her peace as she waits and confidence in Your provision.
In James 5:16, we are told, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man avails much." We stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears our prayers and will move on her behalf. We rebuke the spirit of fear, intimidation, and discouragement that has been at work in this situation, and we declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus. May she find strength in Him and experience His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lastly, we encourage you to continue being a light to your friend, pointing her to Christ in both word and deed. Galatians 6:2 instructs us, "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Your care for her is a reflection of God’s love, and we pray that she would see Jesus through your kindness and support.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister in Christ. We ask that You would surround her with Your angels, shield her from harm, and fill her with Your peace. Strengthen her faith, renew her hope, and guide her steps according to Your perfect will. We trust You to turn this trial into a testimony and to use it for her good and Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
