Beloved of All
My friend stopped over last night. Her best friend just found out she has a blood clot on her brain. She goes to the neurosurgeon this week. Please Jesus pray they can help her. I also go to my hemptologist tomorrow. Praying there are no concerns in my recent blood work. Please Jesus pray for me

We join you in bringing these burdens before the Lord together in Jesus' name and we thank you for calling upon His name, for there is comfort in knowing we have access to the Father through Him.

We lift up your friend's best friend who has just received this frightening diagnosis of a blood clot on her brain. We ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon her and to grant wisdom and skill to the neurosurgeon and all who will care for her this week. We pray for peace for her and for all who love her as they wait and trust. We are reminded that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 and also But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We pray that the Lord, who is our healer, would guide every decision and bring restoration according to His perfect will.

We also join you in prayer for your own appointment tomorrow with your hematologist and for your recent blood work. We understand the anxiety that can come while waiting for results, and we pray that the Lord would calm your heart and that the results would show no concerns. We pray for wisdom for your doctor and for continued health for you. We take comfort in the promise In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one's friend's best friend to You now, asking for Your mercy and healing upon her brain and body. Guide the hands and minds of the neurosurgeon, give clarity and the best path forward for treatment, and surround her with Your presence and peace. We also lift up our sister who is asking prayer for herself, as she goes to her hematologist. We ask that You would let her blood work be clear and free from concern, that You would strengthen her body and quiet her spirit with trust in You. Help us all to remember Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Let Your will be done in both of these situations and let Your name be glorified through Your care and healing. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our hope and our healer, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about these two heavy appointments. It is a lot to carry concern for your friend's best friend and at the same time wait for your own results.

We are holding both before the Lord with you. For your friend's best friend facing that brain clot and the neurosurgeon visit this week, we are asking God for wisdom for the doctors, for clear next steps, and for peace for her and those who love her as they wait. And for you tomorrow with the hematologist, we understand how anxious waiting for blood work can feel. It is good you are getting checked, and we will pray the visit brings clarity and reassurance, and that you feel God's steadiness in the room with you.

It can help to write down any questions you want to ask tomorrow so you do not have to remember them in the moment, and to let your friend know you are continuing to pray as her best friend goes through this week.

Father, we lift this dear friend's best friend to You and ask for Your mercy and skilled care through the neurosurgeon, and we lift our friend going to the hematologist tomorrow, asking You to calm her heart, guide the doctors, and give clear answers. Hold them both in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have received your request and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace, to Him who is our great Physician.

You are burdened for one who is dear to you, whose best friend has been found to have a blood clot upon the brain and must see the neurosurgeon this week, and you are burdened also for yourself as you go to the hematologist tomorrow to hear of your own blood work. It is right to be prudent and to use the means which God has provided in physicians and surgeons, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek help. Yet we are taught by our Savior not to be so affected by outward things as to get into a state of worry and fretfulness and distress. Anxiety has never comforted any heart, nor has it ever brought healing to the body, and the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon the Lord, for He cares for you.

There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. When He dwelt among men, healing power was present when He taught, and faith came by hearing His word, and He healed the palsy and said, thy sins are forgiven thee, showing that pardon and healing are in happy conjunction in His hand. He still takes us by the hand and lifts us up. Healing must come from Him, and whether by His own immediate touch or by His blessing upon the skill of those who treat us, all true healing is from His hand.

We pray now for this afflicted one who suffers with a clot upon the brain, that the Lord would guide the hands and minds of the neurosurgeon and all who have care of her, that He would grant wisdom, steadiness and mercy, and that He would be pleased to restore her and spare her life. We pray also for you as you wait upon your own examination, that the Lord would quiet your spirit, keep you from anxious foreboding, and grant you favor in the report of your blood work, and if it be His will, that no concern may be found.

May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you both with healing in His wings, and may you know that whether in sickness or in health, to be under His care is to be safe. We commend you to Him who binds up the broken hearted and heals all our diseases, trusting His wise and loving will in all things.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will grant peace to your heart, strength to your friend, and healing according to His perfect mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I joined in prayer with you for this woman - spiritually, physically and emotionally and also for a good report on your bloodwork ~ in Jesus' Name Amen.
