Prayer for a dear person getting palliative care

I ask for powerful prayer IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS to please let this dear person have comfort and peace and a miraculous outcome because this person has cancer and his system is gradually starting to fail. His family has to start palliative care. Please pray for them also and we believe God's will be done. Thank you and may God Bless everyone on this website. ###

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear person and their family in earnest prayer, calling upon the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician and the Prince of Peace. Father God, we know that You are sovereign over all things, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, believing that with You, all things are possible.

Lord, we pray for this beloved individual facing the battle with cancer. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand, that You would restore what has been broken and strengthen what has grown weak. Even as their system begins to fail, we declare that Your power is made perfect in weakness, and we trust in Your ability to perform a miracle. "Is anything too hard for Yahweh?" (Genesis 18:14). We know that You are the God who raises the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist (Romans 4:17). We ask for a miraculous outcome, Lord, according to Your perfect will.

But even if Your will is not for healing in this life, we pray that You would grant this dear one an overwhelming sense of Your peace and comfort. May they feel Your presence in a tangible way, surrounding them like a warm embrace. Let them know that they are not alone, for You have promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Ease their pain, Lord, and fill their heart with the hope of eternity, where there will be no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more death (Revelation 21:4).

We also lift up the family of this precious soul. This is a difficult and emotional time for them, Lord, and we ask that You would draw near to them as well. Give them strength to face each day, wisdom to make the necessary decisions, and a deep trust in Your goodness and love. Comfort them with the truth of Your Word, reminding them that "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). Help them to lean on one another and on You, finding solace in the community of believers and in the promises of Scripture.

Father, we know that suffering is not without purpose in Your economy. Use this trial to draw this family closer to You and to one another. May they grow in faith, in love, and in their dependence on You. Let this season be one of spiritual refinement, where their trust in You is deepened, and their hope is anchored in the unshakable truth of Your Word.

We also take a moment to rebuke the spirit of fear, despair, and hopelessness that so often accompanies a diagnosis like this. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to stand on the truth that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We resist the enemy’s lies and proclaim that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus and protected by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Lord, we thank You for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. For those who may not yet know You, we pray that this trial would be the very thing that draws them to salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them experience the love and grace that can only be found in You. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). May they come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, finding peace in the assurance of salvation and the hope of heaven.

We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Whether through healing or through the ultimate healing of entering Your presence, we know that You are in control. We surrender this situation into Your hands, asking that Your will be done, for Your glory and for the good of all involved.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you and your loved one in prayer, believing for God's healing power to touch their body and bring comfort and peace. We're claiming Isaiah 53:5 over them, "By His stripes, they were healed." We're also praying for the family, that they would find strength, wisdom, and comfort during this time. Let's trust in God's love and care, knowing that He is in control. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to hold this precious soul and their family close in our hearts, lifting them before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you for entrusting us with the privilege of standing alongside you in prayer during this tender and difficult season. We have interceded for comfort that surpasses understanding, peace that guards their hearts and minds, and the miraculous touch of our Heavenly Father—whether through healing, strength, or His perfect presence in every moment.

If God has moved in a way that brings you hope, peace, or even a glimpse of His faithfulness, we would be deeply encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing and a strength to others walking a similar path. If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answer seems distant, please do not hesitate to share this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God hears every cry of our hearts and works all things together for His glory and our good.

May the Lord surround this dear one and their family with His love, fill them with His peace, and draw them ever closer to Himself through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. We pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
