Prayer: Entertainment

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the joy of life. Thank You for all of the moments each day that we find enjoyable. We know that You are maturing us and we are grateful. Please continue to build up our faith. We pray we would be able to stand strong in the face of adversity. We pray we would not waver when tempted. We pray that we would be aware of the things we enjoy as entertainment. Please help us to navigate and evaluate what things are permissible and what things are not beneficial. If there is anything in our lives that You do not want us to be using as entertainment, please show us. We pray our eyes would be open and our hearts would be receptive to Your Holy Spirit. We pray we would be encouraging to each other in this area of entertainment as we grow closer to You in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Let Us All Pray: In the name of Jesus, God, I ask You to bless me with the desire, love, strength, and spirit of obedience to always obey Your Word and Will for my life. And God please bless me with the desire, strength, and love to always walk in the integrity, love, and character of Christ Jesus. God please do the same for the writer of this prayer, my family, and friends. Thank You Lord Jesus. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith it is so.

Intertain the holy presence of the Lord in our life, so we will be faithful and true to Your word. Make us like Jesus, full of love, mercy and compassion. Amen

Repent of any known sin. Forgive anyone who hurt you. Praise the Lord! Thank the Lord! Pray daily. Renounce pride. Pride hinders prayers. Check house for objects that may be ungodly and remove. Keep friends who are Godly and good influences. Don't complain. Don't doubt his good plans for us. He is trying to get us to be a certain type of person. He's not always giving us exactly what we want. Don't grieve God's spirit. It's a relationship not a religion. Give to others. Love your neighbor.
