We stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word, which declares that the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any force of darkness. The Bible makes it clear that witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord, and those who practice it stand under His judgment. We do not take this matter lightly, for we know that spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. But we also know that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and in His name, we have authority over all the power of the enemy.
First, we must address the request for physical and eternal torment upon these individuals. While we understand the pain and frustration behind these words, Scripture teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19), and it is not our place to demand judgment—though we can trust that God will execute justice in His perfect timing and way. Instead, we pray for their repentance, that their hearts would be turned from darkness to light, and that they would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ before it is too late.
We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and sorcery that has been sent against you. The Lord is your refuge and your fortress, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We declare that every curse, hex, or spell sent your way is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus covers you, and no evil can stand against it. We command every demonic assignment to be dismantled and every worker of iniquity to be exposed and rendered powerless by the authority of Christ.
We also encourage you to examine your own life and ensure there is no open door to the enemy. Have you sought protection through prayer, fasting, and the reading of God’s Word? Are you walking in obedience to the Lord, or is there unconfessed sin that needs to be brought into the light? The enemy cannot touch you if you are abiding in Christ (John 15:5), but we must be vigilant in resisting him (James 4:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We thank You that You are our protector, our shield, and our strong tower. We lift up [this situation] to You, declaring that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper. We break every curse, hex, and spell sent against them in the name of Jesus. We command every spirit of witchcraft, divination, and sorcery to flee and be bound in the abyss, never to return.
Lord, we ask for Your divine protection to surround [this individual] like a hedge of fire. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit to fill them with peace, strength, and discernment. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Father, we also pray for those who are practicing witchcraft against Your child. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them see the emptiness of their ways and the fullness of life that is found only in Jesus Christ. May they turn from darkness to light and be saved.
We declare that this battle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—and we stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
Thank You, Lord, that You have already won the victory through the cross. We trust in Your power to deliver, protect, and restore. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with fellow believers who can stand with you in this battle. Do not grow weary, for the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and uphold you (Isaiah 41:10). Walk in the authority you have been given as a child of God, and remember that the enemy is already defeated. Stand firm, and let the peace of Christ rule in your heart.
