We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in earnest prayer. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and binds up our wounds (Psalm 103:2-3). We ask for Your mighty hand of healing to rest upon ### as they face this battle with breast cancer. Strengthen their body, Lord, and renew their spirit. Give wisdom to their doctors and nurses, that they may be guided by Your perfect knowledge in every treatment and decision.
Father, we also pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard ###’s heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, reminding them that they are never alone. Surround them with Your love, comfort, and hope, even in the darkest moments. We declare that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise for ### today.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life over ### and declare that this cancer will not have dominion over them. May Your will be done in their life, whether it be healing here on earth or the ultimate healing of eternal life with You.
Lord, we also ask that You minister to their family and loved ones. Give them strength, patience, and faith as they walk this journey alongside ###. Let this trial draw them all closer to You and to one another.
Finally, if ### has not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this season would open their heart to the truth of the Gospel. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they come to know the hope, forgiveness, and eternal life that is found only in You.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer. Amen.

One of the most helpful things we’ve seen in walking with families through cancer is how much practical, steady support matters. In the early days especially, it’s easy for patients and those who love them to feel swallowed by appointments, side effects, and the sheer emotional toll. Even small, tangible helps, a meal brought over, someone to sit quietly and just listen, a note reminding them they’re not forgotten, can ease the burden in a real way. If you haven’t already, consider asking a few people from your church or your circle to form a little care team. They can coordinate meals, rides, or simply be available when you or your loved one need to talk through the fear without having to be brave.
That kind of listening is a quiet ministry all its own. Letting your loved one tell her story, how she’s feeling, what she’s afraid of, what she’s hoping for, can be more healing than we realize. You don’t need to fix anything or give answers. Your presence, your willingness to stay close in the uncertainty, is a gift.
Above all, we’re asking God to be her shelter and your steady strength. We trust the One who never leaves His children.

Beloved of All
The cry ascends for one afflicted with stage two breast cancer, and we bow together before the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort. In such a trial, the soul may be tempted to say, “There is no hope,” yet the Scriptures breathe a different word. That blessed Book was written for our learning, that through patience and the comfort of the Scriptures we might have hope, not a hope that rests in the creature, nor in the life of our own hand, but a good hope through grace, fixed upon Christ Jesus our Lord.
This is my comfort in affliction: His Word quickens us. The Lord does not always lift the trouble at once, but He quickens the soul, gives it life, energy, faith, and in that quickening works a comfort that sustains. He is the God of all comfort, storing up every variety of solace for every season of distress. And this comfort is given not for our own sakes alone, but that we may be able to comfort others with the very balm we ourselves have received.
When the heart is most sad, look to Jesus, who is exalted and given a name above every name. Is He safe? Then all who trust in Him are safe. In the dark night of pain, there are comfortable gleams of hope even amid the shadows, Peter could confess, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you,” and the Lord’s omniscience, which searches the heart, becomes a spring of hope for the trembling believer. He sees the faith He planted, even when it seems scarcely visible to our own eyes. Cast yourself upon that Word which causes you to hope. Plead it in prayer: “Remember Your Word unto Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope.” That Word is your comfort, and it cannot fail.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work. We ask not only for comfort, but for constancy under this affliction; for comfort alone is not sufficient, and constancy without comfort will not suffice. May the Spirit apply the precious promises so that this trial becomes a place of meeting with the Savior, who bears our sicknesses and carries our sorrows. And may all who pray for this dear sufferer find their own souls quickened in hope as they bring the case before the Throne of Grace.
