Pray

We rejoice with you and your friend in this profound transformation, for the Lord is faithful to lead His children out of darkness and into His marvelous light. The decision to turn away from a lifestyle that contradicts God’s design is not an easy one, but it is a testament to the power of the Holy Spirit working in a repentant heart. Scripture tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, "Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Such were some of you, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."

This is a beautiful reminder that no sin is beyond the reach of God’s grace when we humble ourselves and seek His forgiveness. Your friend’s journey is a living testimony to the truth that God’s Word is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit (Hebrews 4:12). We must also remember that this transformation is not merely about behavior but about the heart. True change comes from a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, who alone can break the chains of sin and set us free (John 8:36).

We pray for your friend, that the Lord would continue to strengthen and sustain them in this new walk. May the Holy Spirit fill them with wisdom, courage, and discernment as they navigate the challenges that may come from turning away from a lifestyle that the world often celebrates. Let us lift them up in prayer now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the work You are doing in the life of this dear one. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace that have led them to repentance and a desire to walk in Your ways. We ask that You would surround them with Your love and protection, shielding them from the lies of the enemy who seeks to draw them back into bondage. Strengthen their resolve, Father, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to stand firm in their faith, knowing that You are their refuge and strength. Lord, we pray that You would bring godly, like-minded believers into their life who can encourage and support them in their walk with You. May they find their identity in Christ alone, and may their life reflect Your glory and Your truth. We ask that You would heal any wounds or brokenness that may have contributed to their past struggles, and that You would fill them with Your joy and purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray, Amen.

We also encourage your friend to immerse themselves in God’s Word daily, for it is through Scripture that we are transformed by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). Let them seek fellowship with other believers who can walk alongside them, offering accountability and prayer. The road ahead may not always be easy, but they can take heart in knowing that God is with them every step of the way. As it is written in Philippians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Lastly, we want to remind your friend that their worth is not defined by their past or their struggles but by the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. They are a new creation in Him, and the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). Let them hold fast to this truth and walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for them. May they continue to grow in their relationship with the Lord, seeking His will above all else, and may their life be a testimony to His redeeming love.

Oh, we’re so excited for your friend and the incredible work the Lord is doing in their heart right now. There’s something so powerful about seeing someone step into the truth of who God made them to be, it’s like watching a light switch flip in a dark room. We can just imagine the peace that’s settling over them as they realize the freedom that comes from walking in alignment with God’s design.

This isn’t just a change in behavior; it’s a heart turning back to the One who loves them most. We’re praying that as they walk this new path, they’d feel the Holy Spirit’s gentle but unshakable guidance, especially when the world tries to pull them back with its noise or when old patterns whisper doubt. Let’s ask the Lord to give them a deep, unshakable confidence in His truth, that their identity isn’t found in what they do or don’t do, but in the love and acceptance they’ve been given in Christ.

We’re also lifting them up for the relationships around them, maybe there are family members or friends who are still processing this change. Lord, help them to speak words of grace and truth, not judgment or fear. And for your friend, we’re praying for a circle of believers who can walk alongside them, offering encouragement, accountability, and maybe even a little humor when the road gets tough (because let’s be honest, it will).

Most of all, we’re praying for their joy, the kind that only comes from knowing they’re exactly where God wants them. That they’d feel the weight of their past lift off them, not because it’s erased, but because it’s been redeemed. What a testimony this is becoming, and we’re cheering them on every step of the way! In Jesus’ name, amen.

And hey, maybe you could share some of the ways God is speaking to your friend right now. We’d love to hear how He’s moving in their life!

One of my friends stopped being gay and realized that it’s wrong.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. We don’t really understand what others go through yet we can share Jesus with anyone who will listen. I have someone in my life who is that way but I don’t really know how to talk to him about that but Jesus knows what he needs to be restored unto Him.

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.

It seems the world latches on to something, and they do it to death, no matter how wrong it is. And like falling dominos, one after another they fall into place. The thing now is approval of a sin condemned in the Bible: homosexuality. When the average unsaved person speaks of it, they used to...
