Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for me I’m struggling badly to keep it together I’ve been under huge amounts of stress to the point it’s created a heart problem my husband doesn’t help me with anything in our house I have two small children that I have to care for and my husband doesn’t support me financially he works but doesn’t give me any money because it all goes to bills we can’t afford anything and my grandmother might pass away and I won’t get to see her because of my heart problems and we can’t afford to travel the ### miles. I psychically can’t make it my energy is so low I hardly can get out of bed. Emotionally I’m broken and psychically broken now too. And my family is going to judge me for not seeing grandma.

We hear your cry, dear sister, and we lift you up before the throne of grace with heavy hearts. The weight you carry is more than any one person should bear alone, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking the Lord’s strength, provision, and healing for your body, mind, and spirit.

First, we must address the brokenness in your marriage, for the Lord’s design for marriage is one of mutual love, honor, and support. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 5:25, *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it."* And in 1 Peter 3:7, *"You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered."* Your husband’s lack of support—emotionally, physically, and financially—is not only failing you but grieving the heart of God. We rebuke this neglect in Jesus’ name and pray for conviction and repentance in his heart. The Lord sees your labor, your exhaustion, and your sacrifice, and He will not leave you without help.

We also lift up your physical health, for the stress you’ve endured has taken a toll on your heart. The Lord is your healer, as Exodus 15:26 declares: *"I am Yahweh who heals you."* We pray for supernatural restoration of your strength, energy, and vitality. May the Great Physician touch every weary cell in your body and renew you with His life-giving power. We ask for wisdom for your doctors and for divine intervention in your treatment.

Your grandmother’s situation weighs heavily on you, and we grieve with you over the distance and the limitations of your health. The enemy would love to use this to bring guilt and condemnation, but we declare that God’s grace is sufficient for you. Romans 8:1 reminds us, *"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."* You are not defined by the judgments of others, but by the love of your Heavenly Father. We pray for comfort for your grandmother, for peace in her final days, and for the Lord to make a way for you to see her if it is His will—whether in this life or the next.

Financially, we stand on Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* The Lord sees your lack, and He is able to provide in ways you cannot imagine. We pray for creative solutions, unexpected provision, and for your husband to step into his God-given role as a provider. If he is unwilling, we ask the Lord to raise up others to help meet your needs—whether through the church, family, or divine intervention.

Emotionally, you are carrying a burden that feels unbearable. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* You are not alone, sister. The Lord collects every tear and holds you in His arms. We pray for His peace to guard your heart and mind, for joy to rise in the midst of sorrow, and for the Holy Spirit to fill you with hope.

Let us pray together now:

*"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her up in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You see her weariness, her pain, and her heartache. You know the weight she carries, and You are her burden-bearer. We ask for Your healing touch to restore her body, mind, and spirit. Strengthen her with Your might, Lord, and renew her energy by the power of Your Holy Spirit.

Father, we rebuke the neglect and lack of support in her marriage. Convict her husband’s heart, Lord, and draw him to repentance. Teach him to love and cherish her as You have commanded. Provide for their every need, financially and otherwise, according to Your riches in glory.

Comfort her in the loss of her grandmother, Lord. If it is Your will, make a way for them to be together. If not, wrap Your arms around her and remind her that You are her peace. Shield her from the judgments of others, and let her rest in Your unconditional love.

Fill her with Your joy, Lord. Let hope rise in her heart, and let her know that she is not forgotten. Surround her with Your presence, and give her the grace to endure. We declare breakthrough over her life, in Jesus’ name. Amen."*

Sister, we encourage you to seek help from your local church or a biblical counselor. You were not meant to carry this alone. Galatians 6:2 tells us, *"Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."* Let others come alongside you in this season. And remember, the Lord is your strength. Isaiah 40:31 promises, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*

You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten. Keep pressing into the Lord, for He is your refuge and strength.

We're right here with you, sister, every step of the way. We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out with a simple reminder: You are not alone. We see you, we hear you, and we're lifting you up in prayer.

First, let's remember that God sees your situation too. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." He's inviting you to lay down your heavy load. Trust that He's got you, and He's working things out for your good.

We're praying for your marriage, that your husband would step up and be the support you need. We're asking God to soften his heart and help him understand the weight you're carrying. We're also praying for healing for your body, strength to face each day, and peace in the midst of the storm.

We're right there with you in the struggle, and we're believing for a breakthrough. Keep holding on, sister. God is faithful, and He's got a plan. Let's trust Him together.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your burden in our hearts these past days. It has been our privilege to stand in the gap for you, lifting up your exhaustion, your heartache, and the overwhelming weight you’ve been carrying—both physically and emotionally. We have prayed specifically for your heart, that God would strengthen it, heal it, and restore the energy you so desperately need. We’ve asked Him to surround you with His peace in the midst of this storm, to quiet the anxiety, and to remind you that even when you feel broken, He is near to the brokenhearted.

We’ve also prayed for your husband—for God to soften his heart, to open his eyes to your struggles, and to move him to step into the role of provider, helper, and partner that you need. May the Lord speak clearly to him and stir in him a desire to support you in every way, both practically and emotionally. And for your children, we’ve asked God to give them extra measures of comfort, joy, and security, even in the midst of this hard season.

Most of all, we’ve prayed for your grandmother—that God would either grant you the strength and provision to visit her or, if that isn’t His plan, that He would fill your heart with peace and assurance that He is with her, and that love transcends distance. We’ve also asked Him to guard your heart against the fear of judgment from your family, reminding you that His opinion is the only one that truly matters, and He sees your love, your effort, and your pain.

If God has moved in any of these areas—if you’ve felt His strength, His provision, or His peace—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the burden still feels heavy and the answers haven’t come yet, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue standing with you, lifting you up in prayer until you see His faithfulness unfold.

May the Lord bless you with His presence in tangible ways this week. May you feel His arms around you, His strength sustaining you, and His hope renewing your spirit. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
