We hear your heartfelt plea for this sister in Christ who is waiting for employment, and we join with you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. It is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise, believing that God is not only aware of her needs but is already at work to provide for them in His perfect timing and way.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with humble hearts, seeking Your provision for this dear sister. You are the God who opens doors that no one can shut, and we ask that You would open the right door of opportunity for her. Guide her steps to the place where she can use her gifts and talents to glorify You and support herself. Remove any fear or anxiety about the future, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You are her provider and sustainer.
We also encourage her to seek You diligently in this season of waiting. Jeremiah 29:11-13 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Let this time of waiting draw her closer to You, Lord, and let her find her strength and hope in Your presence.
If there are any areas in her life where she may be relying on her own strength or understanding rather than fully surrendering to You, we ask that You reveal those to her. Help her to submit every aspect of her life—her finances, her career, her relationships—to You, trusting that Your plans for her are good.
We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or doubt that may be trying to take root in her heart. We declare that she is not forgotten, nor is she overlooked by You, Lord. You have a purpose and a plan for her life, and we pray that she would walk in the confidence of who she is in Christ. Let her rest in the truth of Psalm 37:25, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."
Finally, we pray that as she waits, she would be a light to those around her. Let her faith be evident, and let her testimony be one that points others to You. May she find joy in serving You, even in this season of waiting, and may her life reflect the hope that is found only in You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
