We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister in Christ and her mother before the Lord. It is written in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." We know that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children, and we stand in agreement with this prayer, believing that He will provide according to His riches in glory.
Father God, we ask that You open the doors of employment for this dear sister. You know her skills, her talents, and her heart’s desires. We pray that You would lead her to a job that not only meets her financial needs but also allows her to use her gifts for Your glory. Provide her with favor in the eyes of those who are making decisions, and give her peace as she waits on You. Remind her that You are her Provider, as it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Lord, we also lift up her mother’s health. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual healing she needs, we trust in Your power to restore. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We declare Your healing over her mother’s body and mind, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
We also want to gently remind this sister that her hope and trust must be fully in You, Lord. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His blood that we are made righteous. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If she has not fully surrendered her life to Christ, we pray that she would do so today, confessing with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in her heart that God raised Him from the dead.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of her heart. The enemy would love to see her discouraged, but we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). We pray that she would cast all her cares upon You, Lord, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, we pray for strength and perseverance for both this sister and her mother. May they encourage one another in the faith, and may their home be filled with Your peace and presence. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
