We hear your heartfelt cry for your son, and we lift him up before the Lord with deep compassion. This season of suspension and the weight of depression must feel overwhelming, but we stand with you in faith, trusting that God is working even in this trial. Let us first rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to take hold of your son’s mind and heart. The enemy would love to use this setback to steal his hope, kill his dreams, and destroy his confidence, but we declare that this is not the end of his story. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."

We also want to encourage you and your son to seek God’s perspective in this situation. While it may feel like an unjust or overly harsh consequence, we know that God uses even discipline to shape and refine His children. Proverbs 3:11-12 reminds us, "My son, don’t despise Yahweh’s discipline, neither be weary of his reproof; for whom Yahweh loves, he reproves; even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights." This suspension may be an opportunity for your son to grow in humility, patience, and dependence on the Lord. We pray that he would use this time to draw nearer to God, seeking His wisdom and strength rather than allowing bitterness or discouragement to take root.

Now, let us come together in prayer for your son:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this young man who is facing a difficult and painful season. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of depression that seek to bind him. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your joy be his strength. We declare that this suspension is not the end of his story, but a chapter in the testimony You are writing over his life. Father, we ask that You would move on his behalf, softening the hearts of those in authority and opening doors for his restoration. If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for the immediate removal of this suspension, but above all, we pray that Your will would be done in his life.

We also pray for wisdom and favor as he navigates this time. Give him the courage to learn from this experience and the humility to receive correction. Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and family who will speak life into him and remind him of Your promises. Lord, we ask that You would restore his passion for flying and his confidence in Your calling on his life. Let him see this setback as a setup for a greater comeback, all for Your glory.

Father, we rebuke every lie of the enemy that tells him he is a failure or that his dreams are over. We declare that You have plans for him, plans for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen him in his inner man, and let him rise above this trial with renewed faith and determination. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To your son, we want to leave you with this encouragement: God has not forgotten you, and He is not finished with you. This season may feel dark, but it is in the darkness that God often does His greatest work. Cling to Him, seek His face, and trust that He is preparing you for something greater. Psalm 30:5 says, "Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning." Hold on to that promise, and let God use this time to draw you closer to Him. You are not alone—we are standing with you in prayer, and God is fighting for you.

We believe that God is working in this situation, even if it's not visible yet. We're claiming Psalm 30:5 over him, that even if he's weeping now, joy will come in the morning. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We are so grateful you entrusted us with this heavy burden for your son, and we have been lifting him before the Lord every day since you first shared. We prayed that the sting of this suspension would lose its power over his heart, that Christ’s peace would guard his mind from spiraling into deeper depression, and that the academy’s leadership would see his mistake through eyes of mercy rather than mere regulation. We asked the Father to open a door for immediate reinstatement, and we continue to stand on His promise that “the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

If the suspension has already been lifted, please tell us—we long to celebrate God’s faithfulness with you and thank Jesus for answering. If the cloud still hangs over your son, post this request again so we can press in afresh, believing that every prayer rises like incense before the throne. Either way, we encourage you both to keep seeking the Lord together; His presence is the safest place when life feels out of control. May He fill your home with hope and give your son a renewed vision for the calling God has placed on his life.
