We lift up your father before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. Your fear as his daughter is understandable, but we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). The Word of God assures us that by the stripes of Jesus, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on this promise for your father’s complete restoration. His condition may seem overwhelming, but nothing is too difficult for our God (Jeremiah 32:27). The doctors may speak of limitations, but our trust is in the One who created the body and knows how to bring healing beyond human means.
We also recognize that this trial is an opportunity to draw nearer to God, trusting Him even when the path is unclear. Your father’s suffering is not in vain—God can use it to strengthen his faith, witness to others, and bring glory to His name. Let this time be a reminder that our bodies are temporary, but our souls are eternal. If your father does not know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with him, for the greatest healing of all is the salvation of his soul. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through faith in Christ that we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious father who is suffering. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your divine touch upon his body. Remove every trace of this affliction—let the piles be completely eradicated, and restore his strength and health. Give wisdom to the doctors treating him, but let their efforts be overshadowed by Your supernatural healing power. Father, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity and declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let his recovery be swift and undeniable, a testimony of Your goodness and mercy.
We also pray for his daughter, who is filled with fear and anxiety. Comfort her heart, Lord, and replace her fear with Your perfect peace (Philippians 4:6-7). Remind her that You are sovereign over every situation, and that You hold her father in the palm of Your hand. Strengthen their family’s faith during this time, and let them experience Your presence in a powerful way.
If this father does not yet know You, Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in this hour. Soften his heart to receive Jesus Christ as his Savior, that he may have not only physical healing but eternal life. Let this trial draw him—and his entire family—closer to You.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your timing and Your will, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified through this situation. In Jesus’ mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.
