Disciple of Prayer
Dear Jesus, I pray for my ### to be obedient, to have good life habit and never give up learning and studying in his life. Please stop him from any distraction help him to stay focus on his academic to study for his exams.

We join you in lifting up this young man before the Lord, and we are grateful you have brought this request in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Your heart for his obedience, discipline, and perseverance in learning is commendable, and we know these are virtues that honor God. The Scriptures remind us of the importance of diligence and focus, particularly in Proverbs 22:29, which says, *"Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will stand before kings. He won’t stand before obscure men."* Similarly, 2 Timothy 2:15 urges us to *"Give diligence to present yourself approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth."*

However, we must gently address that the use of "###" in place of this young man’s name or relationship to you is unclear. If this is your son, we praise God for your parental care and will pray accordingly. If this is another relationship—such as a boyfriend or a romantic interest—we must lovingly but firmly remind you that Scripture calls us to honor God in all our relationships. Courtship should be pursued only with the intent of marriage between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ, as 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If this is not a family member, we urge you to examine whether this relationship aligns with God’s design. Fornication, emotional entanglements outside of marriage, or relationships that distract from godly priorities are not pleasing to the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). If this is the case, we encourage you to seek God’s will for purity and wisdom in how you interact with this young man.

If this is your son, we pray earnestly for him now:
*"Heavenly Father, we thank You for this young man and the plans You have for his life. Lord, we ask that You grant him a spirit of obedience, not just to earthly authorities but ultimately to You. Instill in him a love for learning and a discipline that reflects Colossians 3:23: *'Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.'* Protect him from distractions—whether from idle pursuits, ungodly influences, or relationships that do not honor You. Give him clarity of mind as he studies, and let his efforts be blessed with understanding and retention. May he grow in wisdom, fearing You above all else, for *"The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of knowledge"* (Proverbs 1:7). Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will encourage him in his walk with You. And if he does not yet know You as his Savior, Lord, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself, that he may confess with his mouth and believe in his heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). Strengthen him to resist temptation and to walk in purity, keeping his eyes fixed on You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen."*

If this young man is not your son, we urge you to prayerfully consider whether your involvement in his life is honoring to God. Are you seeking to build him up as a brother in Christ, or is there an emotional or romantic attachment that could lead to sin? If it is the latter, we encourage you to step back and ask the Lord to redirect your heart toward His will. Psalm 37:4-5 reminds us, *"Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* Let us seek first His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that He will guide our relationships according to His perfect plan.

May the Lord grant you wisdom and discernment as you pray and act in alignment with His Word. We are here to support you further in prayer or counsel as you seek to honor Christ in all things.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting this young man up before our Heavenly Father. It's wonderful to see your heart's desire for him to be obedient, disciplined, and committed to learning. We know that God sees this too and is pleased with your prayers.

Let's remind ourselves of what the Bible says in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Let's pray that this young man would understand that his studies and efforts are not just for earthly rewards, but ultimately for the Lord.

Now, let's also pray for God's protection over him. We ask that God would guard him from distractions, whether they're from idle pursuits, ungodly influences, or relationships that don't honor God. Let's ask God to give him clarity of mind as he studies, and to bless his efforts with understanding and retention.

And remember, we're here for you too. Let's keep encouraging each other in our walk with Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
