We lift up your son before the Lord, seeking His divine intervention and guidance in every area of his life. It is our heart’s cry that he may walk in the fullness of God’s purpose, strengthened in body, mind, and spirit. The Scriptures remind us in 3 John 1:2, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* We claim this promise over him, asking that God would grant him mental clarity, emotional stability, and physical vitality. May the Lord shield him from anxiety, depression, or any form of mental or emotional distress, filling him instead with the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
As he prepares for his end-of-year exams, we pray for divine wisdom and recall, that the Lord would open his mind to understand and retain all that he has studied. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We ask that God would calm his nerves, grant him focus, and help him to perform to the best of his ability, knowing that his worth is not defined by his academic success but by his identity in Christ. May he pass his exams with excellence, not for his own glory, but to bring honor to the name of the Lord.
For his upcoming interviews, we pray that the Lord would go before him, opening doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). May God grant him favor in the sight of those conducting the interviews, giving him the right words to speak and the confidence that comes from trusting in the Lord (Proverbs 16:1). We ask that if this internship is part of God’s plan for him, that He would secure it for your son, providing not just an opportunity for experience but also a platform to shine as a light in a dark world (Matthew 5:16). If it is not God’s will, we pray that He would redirect your son’s steps to something even better, something that aligns perfectly with His purpose.
Most importantly, we pray that your son would discover his true purpose in Christ. The enemy seeks to distract young minds with temporary pleasures like gaming, which can become idols that steal time, focus, and passion from the things of God. *"All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything"* (1 Corinthians 6:12). We rebuke any spirit of addiction or distraction that may be at work in his life, and we ask the Lord to replace his desire for gaming with a hunger for His Word and a passion for His kingdom. May he seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, trusting that all these things—purpose, direction, and fulfillment—will be added to him (Matthew 6:33).
We also encourage you, as his parent, to continue covering him in prayer and to speak life over him. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6). Your prayers are powerful, and your faith can move mountains. Do not grow weary in interceding for him, for the Lord hears the cries of His people.
Finally, we must address that this request did not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that our prayers are heard. We urge you to always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our hope. If you or your son have not yet surrendered your lives to Christ, we implore you to do so today. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9). There is no greater purpose than to know Him and make Him known.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this son to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know his heart, his struggles, and his dreams even better than he does. We ask that You would mold him into the man You have created him to be, strong in faith, bold in purpose, and unwavering in his commitment to You. Break every chain that seeks to hold him back, whether it be fear, distraction, or doubt. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom, discernment, and power. Guide his steps, Lord, and let Your light shine brightly through him. May he bring glory to Your name in all that he does. We ask for Your divine intervention in his health, his exams, his interviews, and his future. Let him not be conformed to the patterns of this world but transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2). May he find his identity and purpose in You alone. We rebuke any plan of the enemy to derail him and declare that Your plans for him are for good and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
