pray for work

Anonymous

Beloved of All
pray as I am so depressed as I want to be a pastry chef and I am unwell and so down and pray as I feel dead physically and I feel noone cares and pray as all I want to make a cake for tomorrow
pray as I need to feel spiritually revived as I can barely think and my head has swelled up
pray as all I want to do is use my pastry skills and everyone fights against it
pray that my body can feel physically normal and pray as I don't know what is spiritually going on as I feel far from Jesus like he has left and forsaken me and pray that I can love Israel and the bible again
pray that I can think clearly and pray as I have never been so down and depressed and pray that I will know people care and love me
pray as I want to be healed physically and spiritually and whatever attacked my body to be gone and to do icing on cakes as how can I become a pastry chef if someone is throwing away my glucose for mirror glaze icing or not allowing me to do icing

pray as I so want to be physically restored as it is like god doesn't care about me and pray as I do wanted to get married and have children when I was younger as god healed me when I was younger but doesnt care about me now

We have read your request and we are lifting you up together before the Father in Jesus name, for you are not alone and you are deeply cared for even when you feel that no one cares. We hear how heavy and dark this season feels, how unwell and exhausted your body is, how your head has swelled and your thoughts feel clouded, and how your heart feels so down and depressed as you long to use the pastry skills God has given you and simply make a cake for tomorrow. We want you to know that God does see you and He does care about you, about your work, about your health, and about your calling.

We gently correct the painful thoughts that Jesus has left and forsaken you and that God does not care about you now. That is not the truth of His Word, though we understand why you feel that way in such suffering. He has promised Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you Deuteronomy 31:6 and Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Nothing can separate us from His love in Christ Jesus Romans 8:38-39. The same God who healed you when you were younger is still the same yesterday, today and forever Hebrews 13:8 and His compassion does not fail. We rebuke the lie that you are forgotten or unloved, and we pray against any spiritual attack or oppression that has come against your body and mind, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces Ephesians 6:12, and we resist the enemy in Jesus name that he must flee James 4:7.

We also pray for your body and mind. You describe feeling dead physically, barely able to think, and your head swelled up. We ask the Lord to touch you and bring healing and restoration, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and He gives power to the faint and to him who has no might He increases strength Isaiah 40:29. We pray that whatever has attacked your body will be gone and that you will feel physically normal again, with clear thought and a sound mind, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Please also seek medical care promptly for the swelling and physical symptoms so that you can be examined and cared for, while we continue to pray for the Lord’s healing hand upon you. We pray for spiritual revival for you, that the Lord would draw you close again and renew your love for His Word and for Israel, for He has said He will bless those who bless Israel Genesis 12:3 and we are called to pray for the peace of Jerusalem Psalm 122:6. When you feel far from Jesus, remember His invitation Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28 and cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7.

We rejoice in the gifts God has placed in you and your desire to work faithfully as a pastry chef. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray for your work and for tomorrow’s cake, that the Lord would provide what you need, protect what you have prepared, including the glucose for mirror glaze icing, and open doors where others have fought against you. May He give you favor, provision, and opportunities to use your pastry skills for His glory and for the joy of others, and may He quiet the opposition and discouragement around you. We also hear your tender desire that you once had to be married and have children. We affirm that marriage is a holy and lifelong covenant between a man and a woman as God designed it, and children are a heritage of Yahweh Psalm 127:3. We pray that if it is His will, He will lead you to a godly Christian spouse in His perfect timing through a courtship that honors Him, and that you will know His purpose for your life is still full of hope, for I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Even now, know that we care and love you in Christ, and more importantly, God loves you with an everlasting love.

Father in heaven, we come together in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace John 14:6 and there is no other name by which we are saved Acts 4:12. We lift up this dear one to You who feels depressed, unwell, spiritually dry, and physically weak. Touch this body and bring healing, ease the swelling, restore strength, and make it feel normal again. Clear the mind and give peace that surpasses understanding Philippians 4:7. Revive the spirit, draw near, and let Your presence be felt again, restoring joy in Your Word and love for Your people Israel. Provide for the work of their hands, bless the cake for tomorrow, protect the ingredients and the icing work, and open a way to grow as a pastry chef for Your glory. Comfort this heart with the assurance that You have not left or forsaken them, that You do care now and always, and surround them with people who show Your love and care. Heal physically and spiritually, remove what has attacked, and fill them with hope, clarity, and renewed purpose. We ask all this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.

We hear how heavy this feels right now. You have a real gift and desire to be a pastry chef, and simply wanting to make a cake tomorrow and use your icing skills should be a joyful thing. When you are feeling so unwell physically, so low and foggy, and it feels like everything is working against that dream, it makes sense you would feel unseen and far from Jesus.

That sense that God has left or doesn't care can feel very real when you are depressed and exhausted, and many who walk through depression describe that same distance. Feeling far does not mean you are forgotten or forsaken, even though the feeling itself is painful and isolating.

Since you mentioned your head has swelled and you feel so physically unwell and unable to think clearly, we gently encourage you to see a medical clinician soon alongside prayer, so someone can check on you in person and care for your body. It can also help to let one trusted person know how down you have been, a pastor, counselor, or friend, so you are not carrying this alone.

For tomorrow, it may help to keep the baking plan as small and doable as possible, one simple cake with the icing you do have, and ask someone you trust to help make sure your ingredients are set aside and protected.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your nearness in this low place, for comfort when it feels like no one cares, for healing and restoration in body and spirit, for clearer thought and rest, and for Your love to be felt again for Your Word. Give wisdom to those who care for them and open a steady way to use the gifts You have given. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, heal and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your cry has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with heaviness and with hope. You have spoken honestly about being so down and depressed, unwell in body, feeling dead physically, your head swollen and your thoughts clouded, feeling that no one cares, and feeling far from Jesus as if He has left and forsaken you. Honest dealing with God is far better than outward religiousness that is superficial and unreal, for God desires truth in the inward parts. When a broken spirit cries, what a wretch I am, that very honesty is the place where mercy meets us, and we are not left to our own strength.

You feel forsaken, and that feeling is very painful, but feeling forsaken is not being forsaken. Our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross cried, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me, and He was truly forsaken, smitten of God and afflicted, that you and all who trust in Him might never be forsaken. God has expressly said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Even when He seems to deal hardly with us, He is dealing with us as a Father with His child, and you are engraved upon the palms of His hands. Your fears of being forgotten are answered in that truth. Look deeply into it and let your fears be gone, for He has loved His people too long to forget them.

Despair says our hope is lost, but that word goes beyond the truth of God, for God is the God of hope. Despair is a crime against the truth of God and tramples upon the blood of Christ, who died that the despairing might have hope. Though you say you have never been so down, and you can barely think, there is still in your soul a panting and crying after peace with God, a longing to love the Bible again and to love what God loves. That longing itself is a sign that His Spirit has not left you. He who began a good work will carry it on.

We pray for you now for healing in body and soul. God in infinite mercy treats sin as a disease and provides healing by the stripes of Jesus. By His stripes we are healed, first and most deeply in the soul, where gratitude for such mercy heals the judgment and turns the affections to love God and holiness, and also in the body according to His wise and merciful will. We ask the Lord to lift what has attacked your body, to bring down the swelling, to restore physical strength so that you feel normal and clear in mind again, and to give you a sound and quiet spirit. We ask Him to revive you spiritually, to draw near and let you know again that you are reconciled to God by the death of His Son, saved from sin by faith in the Lord Jesus alone, and kept not by your own strength but by the grace and promise of God.

We pray also for your work and for the good desire He has given you to use your hands in pastry work. It is right to want to use the skills God has given you for honest labor, and we ask the Lord to provide what you need for tomorrow, to make a way for you to make the cake and to do the icing you have longed to do, even the mirror glaze, and to quiet the opposition you feel where others fight against it or throw away what you need. May He give you clarity of thought, steadiness of hand, and opportunities to labor faithfully for His glory, whether in small things like the icing on a cake or greater things, and to know that even the least thing about Christ can bring healing.

We remember before God your longing for marriage and children, a desire you carried when you were younger. Marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as God ordained, and children are a heritage from Him. We thank God that He healed you when you were younger, and we do not believe He is without care for you now. His care has not lessened. We ask Him to guard you from the lie that He does not care, to show you that people do care and love you, and to fulfill His good purposes for you in His time and way, giving you contentment in Christ today and hope for the days to come.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, who was forsaken that we might never be forsaken, look upon this weary and unwell child. Forgive sin through the matchless atonement, cover guilt so it is no longer imputed, and let faith rest there. Heal body and spirit, clear the mind, calm the depression, take away what has afflicted the body, and restore strength. Let Your presence be felt again, let Your Word be loved again, and give a renewed love for all that You love. Provide for work, provide glucose and all that is needed for the cake, and let skill be used in peace. Keep this one from despair and keep them by grace, living by faith to the end. Let it be known this day that You have not forsaken nor forgotten, for Your Son bore the forsaking in our place. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have received your prayer request and we are lifting you before the Lord with care and compassion. Thank you for sharing so honestly about your depression, your physical suffering, your work and your longing to use the gifts God has given you.

We hear how heavy this season feels. To feel physically dead, unwell, unable to think clearly, with your head swollen and your body not feeling normal, and to feel that no one cares and that Jesus has left you, is a very painful place to be. Please hear that feeling forsaken is not the same as being forsaken. Scripture says we may be pursued yet not forsaken, struck down yet not destroyed, and God permits trials for our discipline and training, not for our defeat. Even when you cannot feel His presence, Christ has not left you. He draws near to those who are brokenhearted and He hears your cry.

We are praying for your physical healing and restoration. We ask God to touch your body, to bring relief to the swelling and heaviness in your head, to restore clear thinking, strength and normal physical feeling, and to remove whatever has attacked your health. We also encourage you, if you have not already, to seek care from a doctor or medical professional for these physical symptoms and for the deep depression you describe, and to reach out to a trusted pastor or counselor in your local church so you are not carrying this alone. You are not forgotten, and God does care for you now as He did when He healed you before. His care has not lessened with time.

We are praying for your spirit to be revived. We ask the Lord to lift the darkness and heaviness, to renew your love for His Word and to restore joy in reading the Bible and in loving Israel, and to help you know in a deeper way that you are loved and cared for by God and by others. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, and we pray that as you hear His voice again your heart would be comforted and your hope renewed.

We are also praying for your work and for the desire He has placed in you to be a pastry chef. God cares about the work of your hands, and the skill to make cakes and to do icing and mirror glaze is a good gift. We pray for opportunity to use those skills tomorrow and in the days ahead, for provision of what you need including glucose for your glaze, for open doors where others have fought against you, and for encouragement where you have felt opposed and discouraged. We ask God to give you wisdom and favor in your work and to guide your next steps.

We hear your longing to be married and to have children, a desire you have carried since you were younger. That desire for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and for family is good and holy in the eyes of God, and we pray that God would give you peace as you trust His care and His timing, and that you would know His faithfulness in every season.

Let us pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come to You in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior, and we lift this dear one to You. You see the depression, the physical pain, the weariness and the confusion. Have mercy and bring healing to body and spirit. Clear the mind, calm the heart, restore physical strength and take away what is causing harm. Let this one feel Your nearness and know that You have not forsaken them. Rekindle love for Your Word and joy in Your promises. Provide for work, open a way to use pastry skills for Your glory, and supply what is needed for the cakes and icing they long to create. Surround them with people who show Your care and love, and lead them to help and support that will sustain them. Give hope for the future and deep assurance that You care today just as You cared before. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, amen.
