Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to remember you before the Lord since you shared about losing your contract business analyst job because you chose not to do illegal things and about the deep hurt and insult you felt when your mentor at church pressured you to take work selling at McDonalds or doing plumbing and masked his own preferences as Gods will for you while calling your desire for a managerial or business analyst role covetousness.
We have been grieved as we prayed over the prejudice you experienced when you were told Singaporeans are only suited for low level work while highly skilled roles are for foreigners, and how your contract status was used as a measure of your worth, and how you were nagged until you felt you had to stay away from church. We also lifted to the Lord the pain of having your hopes for marriage overwritten by one who wanted you to remain single as he is and who looked down upon you and said you could not afford to start a family, and the discouragement of being told not to talk about education, of having seasonal struggles presented as your permanent calling, of being made a laughing stock, and of being mocked in light of the push for artificial intelligence. We are praying that God will expose what is deception and what is truly His will, for we know He honors integrity as written in Prov 11:1 and that whatever we do we are to work for the Lord as in Col 3:23. We take comfort that He is near to the brokenhearted as promised in Ps 34:18 and that His plans for His people are for good as in Jer 29:11.
We continue to pray in Jesus Name for the Lord to vindicate your stand for righteousness, to open doors for provision and for work that uses the skills and education He has given you and that will truly provide for your needs, to heal the wound caused within the church and to guide you to sound fellowship where you are encouraged and not manipulated, and to make clear His perfect will for your life including His plan for marriage and family. We pray you will know your value in His eyes and that He will give you wisdom to discern His voice above every other voice.
