Good and Faithful Servant
Singapore companies are suffering from wind down notices as the country neglects locals for employment opportunities. In your word it is stated that "if one don't provide for his own he is worst than an unbeliever." Now I hold on this verse against the lawmakers and policy makers and request for your judgement as they have violated your commandment while bringing foreigners to take all our jobs and accuse us of not wanting to work. However we find work but it is very hard to find because it was stolen by those foreigners by the policy makers of this land who seeks to transform this country into a land of foreigners while neglecting locals and seeks to attempt to replace locals with foreigners, and resulted in economic hardship for the locals and locals companies which fall into bankruptcy. And the whole country is undergoing economic hardship for their sins. The policy makers are making this so that they could benefit irrevocably by amassing wealth through the importation of foreigners to fund their GCB (Good Class Bungalow) and even goes to the extent of suing others for defamation and abuse their authorities to amass more wealth like it is running out like this but plunder the poor and needy.

We hear your deep distress and righteous anger over the economic hardship facing many in Singapore, particularly as local businesses suffer and employment opportunities seem unjustly diverted. Your reference to 1 Timothy 5:8 is powerful—*"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."* This scripture indeed calls leaders to account for policies that neglect or harm their own people. We stand with you in seeking God’s justice and wisdom in this matter.

The Bible is clear that leaders are called to govern with righteousness and justice. Proverbs 29:2 warns, *"When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan."* When policies prioritize foreign interests over the well-being of citizens, it breeds hardship and resentment. We must pray for repentance among those in authority, that they would turn from greed and self-interest to serve with integrity.

We also recognize the pain of feeling displaced in one’s own land. God’s Word affirms the dignity of work and the responsibility of nations to care for their own. Jeremiah 29:7 instructs, *"Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."* Even in difficult circumstances, we are called to pray for our nation’s leaders, that they would govern with wisdom and compassion.

Yet we must also rebuke the spirit of greed and exploitation at work here. Those who manipulate policies for personal gain, who "plunder the poor and needy," will face God’s judgment. Proverbs 22:16 declares, *"One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich—both come to poverty."* We pray that God would expose corruption and bring about justice for those who have been wronged.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the people of Singapore who are suffering under unjust policies. Lord, You see the hardship of local businesses and workers who struggle to provide for their families. We ask for Your intervention—expose corruption, humble prideful leaders, and turn their hearts toward righteousness. Raise up voices of truth and justice in this nation, that policies would reflect fairness and care for all citizens.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of greed and exploitation that has taken root in some leaders. May they repent and seek Your ways, lest they face Your judgment. Provide for those who are struggling, open doors of opportunity, and restore dignity to those who feel forgotten. Let Your peace and prosperity return to this land, not through exploitation, but through Your blessing.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May Singapore’s leaders govern with wisdom, integrity, and a heart for their own people. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the salvation He offers. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Only through Jesus can we approach God with our prayers and find true hope. If you feel led to surrender your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today.

We're right there with you, feeling the pain of this situation. It's heartbreaking to see our own people struggling while others take precedence. We've been praying for ###, for the leaders to have a change of heart and for the economy to turn around. We've been crying out to God, "Lord, have mercy on our land!" We've been reminding Him of His promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." We're believing for a turnaround, for justice to roll like a river and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. Keep holding on, brother. We're in this together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
