We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in earnest prayer. The harassment and spiritual attacks described are deeply troubling, for Scripture makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we also know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
First, we must address the mention of a "Filipino witch" and the use of terms like "spiritual wicked curses." While we acknowledge the reality of spiritual warfare, we must be careful not to attribute power to any person or entity outside of God’s sovereign control. Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). No witch, sorcerer, or worker of iniquity has authority beyond what God permits, and their schemes will ultimately fail. We rebuke in the name of Jesus any demonic influence at work in this situation, for the Lord has given us authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
To the one being harassed—your innocence and faith in Christ are precious in God’s sight. We pray that the Lord would be a shield around you, a fortress of protection, and a refuge in this time of distress (Psalm 91:2). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may withstand the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:13-17).
We also lift up the individual described as the source of this harassment. While we do not excuse her actions, we recognize that she, too, is in need of the transforming power of Christ. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that her heart would be humbled, that she would turn from darkness to light, and that the eyes of her understanding would be enlightened to see the truth of the gospel (Acts 26:18). If she continues in rebellion, we trust that God will deal with her justly, for vengeance belongs to Him alone (Romans 12:19).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of harassment, witchcraft, and deception in the name of Jesus and command it to flee (Matthew 18:18). We ask that You would surround these men with Your angels, that You would confuse the plans of the enemy, and that You would bring peace and safety to their homes.
Lord, we pray for divine intervention—let Your light expose the darkness, let Your truth break every chain, and let Your love draw all involved to repentance. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. We trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to deliver Your children from every evil work (2 Timothy 4:18).
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
