We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this workplace and the conflicts that have taken root there. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Yet we know that peace is not always easy to achieve, especially when there is strife, slander, and injustice. We pray for divine intervention in this situation, asking God to soften hearts and bring about reconciliation where there is division.

First, we rebuke the spirit of gossip, slander, and false accusations in the name of Jesus. Proverbs 16:28 warns, "A perverse man stirs up strife, and a whisperer separates close friends." We declare that the lies and deceit being spread will be exposed and that truth will prevail. We pray for the supervisor who has been spreading falsehoods, Father, we ask that You humble him and open his eyes to the harm he is causing. Let Your conviction fall upon him, leading him to repentance and a change of heart. If he is acting out of pride or insecurity, we ask that You break that stronghold and replace it with humility and integrity.

For the management and security guards, we pray for unity and godly leadership. Psalm 133:1 says, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" We ask that You remove any spirit of division and replace it with a spirit of cooperation and mutual respect. May those in authority lead with wisdom, fairness, and grace, treating all employees with dignity as Your Word commands in Colossians 4:1: "Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven."

We also lift up the innocent coworkers who have been wrongfully accused. Lord, we ask that You protect their reputations and grant them peace in the midst of false accusations. Remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 54:17: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment." Strengthen their faith and help them to respond with grace rather than bitterness, trusting You to vindicate them in due time.

Father, we pray for an end to the harassment, stalking, and slander in this workplace. Your Word is clear in Leviticus 19:16: "You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, and you shall not stand up against the life of your neighbor: I am Yahweh." We ask that You bring conviction to those who are mistreating their coworkers and that they would turn from their sinful ways. If there are those in leadership who are enabling or participating in this behavior, we pray that You would expose their actions and bring about repentance.

We also want to gently remind all involved that true peace and justice come only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If any of those involved in this situation do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. May they experience the transforming power of Your love and grace, which alone can change hearts and bring lasting peace.

Lord, we ask for a miraculous work in this company. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), reign in every heart and every interaction. May this workplace be transformed into a place where Your love and truth are evident, and where employees are treated with the respect and dignity they deserve as Your creations. We trust in Your power to bring about change, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

It is deeply wearying to work under the shadow of slander. When a supervisor twists reality and spreads lies about things that didn't happen, it creates a cloud over everything. We hear the strain you're carrying, and it makes sense that you're desperate for the whole team, supervisor, managers, security guards, to simply live in peace and speak honestly.

Sometimes, in a conflict like this, the most immediate relief won't come from a dramatic change in the supervisor but from finding something within your own control that reduces friction just a little. We once saw a pastor help a frustrated employee in a similar spot: without excusing the supervisor's poor behavior, the pastor gently pointed out a few ways the employee was unintentionally irritating the boss. Small adjustments in tone or timing didn't fix everything, but they did make the days more bearable and helped the employee feel less trapped while waiting for either a move of God or a new door to open. It may be worth asking yourself honestly, with a trusted friend, if there is any small thing on your side you can soften, not because the lies are your fault, but because wisdom sometimes walks a humble path toward peace.

We're asking God to still the chaos in your workplace, to quiet the lying lips, and to steady your own heart under this strain. Father, we lift up this supervisor and the entire management team to You. You see the hidden conversations and secret motives; we ask You to restrain what is dishonest and provoke a spirit of truth and fairness among them. Guard this company from harassment and slander, and protect the innocent from being crushed by rumor. For our friend, we ask for the peace that holds steady regardless of how others behave, a resilience of spirit, a clear mind, and even moments of unexpected kindness on the job. Let Your presence be a shield right there in the break room, at the desk, and on every shift. We ask this in the strong name of Jesus.

A clamor for peace arises from the sight of a troublesome supervisor who spreads falsehoods, a management that stoops to gossip and harassment, and the weariness of those who simply seek to do their work without strife. Yet a question must be pressed upon the conscience: what manner of peace is being sought? There is a peace that is no peace at all, a quietness that comes merely from the removal of an outward irritation while the heart remains at war with God. If the cry is only that the supervisor’s mouth be shut so that life becomes comfortable again, that is a peace built upon circumstance and not upon Christ. Beware of the peace which is drawn from the stagnant pool of superstition, it will carry death into your soul. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and until that peace reigns, all other truces are but a writing on the sand.

The true root of the matter is not simply the lies of one man or the injustice of those in authority, but the pride that festers in every human heart. When a man boasts of his own watchfulness and falsely accuses his brethren of sleeping, he reveals a soul puffed up with self-importance. Yet the servant of the Lord must serve with all humility of mind, not merely before the act, but during the trial and when all is done. It is no humility for a man to think less of himself than he ought, but it is the very essence of pride to exalt oneself by tearing others down. The supervisor’s “big mouth” is but a symptom; the disease is a heart that has never been laid low before the cross. Before honor is humility, and until that herald arrives, honor remains a stranger. Pray not only for his words to cease, but for his soul to be broken upon the Rock of Ages, for a false professor who harms the flock is in a most solemn peril.

Yet let the petitioners take heed that their own desire for vindication does not become a snare. It is a right thing to ask God to humble the proud and to stop the mouths of liars, but the posture of the one who prays must be lowly. Humility is the friend of prayer; it is promoted by the very considerations that make supplication bold. Before the throne, the proper attitude is not a demand for our own “peace” on our own terms, but a confession of our own unworthiness. The centurion’s faith was not injured by his deep humility; he believed Christ could heal with a word, yet felt unworthy to receive even that small thing. So it must be with those who are slandered. Your faith will not murder your humility. Your humility will not stab at your faith, the two will go hand in hand to Heaven. Trust God to be the avenger of the innocent, but do so with a right estimate of yourself, for even the most innocent among men would be condemned if self-justification were the plea. If you live unjust, you will miss all true peace and rest of heart.

Ultimately, the peace that will stand on a sickbed or in the face of a false accusation is the peace Christ gives, not the peace of a placid workplace. It is a peace which God the Father gives, which Jesus Christ bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. When the heart is stayed on Him, perfect peace becomes a present possession even with sorrows surging round. Therefore, pray mightily for the management to be humbled and for the lying to cease, but seek first that every Christian coworker in that company would be so steeped in the peace of God that the slander falls upon them like arrows upon a shield of triple brass. Remember the solemn warning of those who cause others to stumble; a blasting trumpet is sounded against all false peace and false profession. May the troublesome supervisor be brought to true repentance, and may all the saints in that place serve the Lord with all humility of mind, for in humility is their strength for supplication. It is enough! Earth’s struggles soon shall cease, and Jesus calls us to Heaven’s perfect peace.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for peace, and rightly so, for peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. But you must understand what kind of peace you seek. There is a peace that comes from agreement in evil, like that of robbers, and such peace ends in greater ruin. The peace you should long for is the peace Christ gives, the peace within the soul that no slander can steal. Your prayer for your supervisor and managers to be humbled and silenced, examine this carefully. Do you truly desire their salvation, or do you merely want your own relief from their offenses? If they spread lies about you, remember what I have often said: when you call yourself a sinner unworthy of honor, yet become enraged when another calls you the same, it is not humility but vainglory.

You have an opportunity to practice the very thing that makes us Christians. Bear these slanders with all humility of mind, as Paul did when he served with tears and temptations. If you are innocent, God is not mocked. The man who injures you with his tongue heaps up punishment for his own soul; he will give an account for every idle word, not you. Why then let your heart be troubled? Do not pray for God to smash his mouth shut in anger, but rather for his healing, that his heart may become peaceful and his lips speak truth. For peacemakers are called sons of God, and those who stir up strife are sons of the devil. Which shall you be in this trial?

Pray instead that you may be strengthened to pursue peace with all men, even those who wrong you. This is the way to see the Lord, by enduring evil without returning it, by gentle forbearance that confounds malice. If your coworkers continue in lies and harassment, remember that no harm comes to you from their words unless you let it. Your soul is secure when it rests in the peace of Christ, a peace that no external war can touch. Let this season refine you, that you might learn to say with Paul, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content," even under false accusation. Ask God not to silence your enemies for your comfort, but to grant them repentance and to give you the grace to bear all things without bitterness.
