Pray for Peace and security

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Could you please pray for me? Pray that God will comfort me and make me feel secure. Pray that He fills me with the life of His Holy Spirit and cradles me in His strong arms.I also ask that He grants me friends to pray with, and faithful friends. Pray that I myself may be a good friend and a blessing to others. Pray that God will remove this dangerous rootlessness, and that I may have a harmonious, peaceful, and secure home with order.Pray that I may draw closer to Jesus, and come to know Him and His word. Pray for God’s healing for me and His peace, and for a breakthrough into victory in everything. Pray that God opens the right doors that no one can shut, and closes the wrong doors that no one can open. Pray that God gives me His peace and rest.In Jesus' name, Amen.

We hear your heart’s cry for peace, security, and a deepening relationship with the Lord, and we stand with you in agreement before the throne of grace. Your request is beautiful and aligns with God’s desire for His children, to be rooted in His love, surrounded by faithful community, and walking in the fullness of His Spirit. We rejoice that you have called on the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or find true peace. As it is written, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5), and "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful" (John 14:27).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your comfort and security. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who gathers Your sheep in Your arms and carries them close to Your heart (Isaiah 40:11). We ask that You cradle them in Your strong arms, filling them with the life of Your Holy Spirit. Let them know the depth of Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Remove every lie of rootlessness and instability, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Establish them in Your truth, that they are Your beloved child, chosen and secure in Christ.

Lord, we pray for godly friendships to surround them, friends who will sharpen them as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), who will pray with them, encourage them in the faith, and walk alongside them in love. May they also be a blessing to others, reflecting Your kindness and grace. Father, we ask that You bring harmony and order to their home, that it may be a place of peace, a sanctuary where Your presence dwells. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105), guiding them into all truth.

We declare healing over their heart, mind, and spirit, for by Your stripes they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Break every chain of anxiety, doubt, and insecurity, and lead them into the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. Open the doors You have ordained for them, Lord, and close the doors that lead to harm or distraction. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they rest in You, knowing that You neither slumber nor sleep, but keep them in perfect peace as their mind is stayed on You (Isaiah 26:3).

Draw them ever closer to Jesus, Lord. May they know Him not just as Savior, but as Friend, Shepherd, and King. Let Your Word dwell in them richly, transforming their thoughts and renewing their mind (Romans 12:2). We pray for breakthrough in every area of their life, spiritually, emotionally, and practically. May they walk in the authority and victory You have already won for them on the cross.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the way You are moving even now on their behalf. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust, and fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they abide in You, and You in them, bearing much fruit for Your glory (John 15:4-5). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear one. The Lord sees your longing for peace and security, and He is already at work to fulfill the desires of your heart as you seek Him first (Matthew 6:33). Continue to meditate on His promises, for they are yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). Surround yourself with believers who will spur you on in faith, and be intentional about being that kind of friend to others. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust Him to lead you into the fullness of His peace.

We hear the deep longing in your words, for a place to belong, for a love that holds you steady, and for the kind of peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances. That yearning for a secure home, faithful friends, and a life rooted in Jesus is something we take seriously with you. It’s not just a wish; it’s a prayer God is eager to answer, though often in smaller, daily steps rather than all at once. The calm you’re asking for tends to grow as we walk with Christ over time, not as a single dramatic moment but as we learn to trust His strong arms even while our feelings tell us otherwise.

One tangible way forward might be to seek out a small group or Bible study in your church, a place you can show up regularly. Friendships often develop when we’re simply in the same room, sharing a bit of our real lives with people who also love Jesus. It won’t happen overnight, but as you take the risk of being open, God uses those connections to make a home for your heart. And as you invest in being a good friend to others, you’ll find that you yourself are being strengthened.

We also want to encourage you: the “breakthrough” and “victory in everything” you’re praying for often looks less like a door suddenly swinging wide and more like a steady series of right doors opening just enough to take the next step. God is faithful to guide you, and He is already cradling you even when it doesn’t feel that way.

Let’s pray together now.

Father, thank You for seeing this dear one’s need for peace and security. Please wrap them in Your comfort right now, fill them with the life of Your Holy Spirit and let them sense Your arms beneath them. Bring faithful friends who will pray with them, and make them a blessing to those they meet. Root out any dangerous restlessness, and build a harmonious, safe home where order and Your presence dwell. Draw them close to Jesus, and reveal Yourself through Your word. Grant healing, release Your peace, and lead them into the victory You have for them, opening every right door and closing every wrong one. Give them deep rest in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, perfect peace, a present possession for the mind stayed on Him. You ask for comfort and security: these are not distant hopes but the immediate gift of faith. Trust Him now, and He shall keep you in peace, peace, for the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed. No other remedy cures the rootlessness of soul; only a look to those wounds streams with mercy and beams with the splendor of Grace. There is certainty for every soul that trusts in Jesus.

You cry for the life of the Holy Spirit, for the strong arms of God to cradle you. He can breathe into your soul at this very moment a peace with God which passes all understanding, springing from the perfect remission of your iniquities. The healing power is conspicuously present when Christ is teaching, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Draw near to His Word, store it up, take it home and pray for a blessing upon what you have heard. One promise applied by His Spirit, one drop of His blood brought home to the conscience, and at once there is such a peace, so deep and profound, that nothing can rival it.

You long for faithful friends and for grace to be a good friend yourself. Our Lord set an example: He went about doing good. Let this be your model. Seek to be a blessing, and in blessing you shall be blessed. He maketh peace in thy borders, pray that He establishes this in your home, that order and harmony may reign. The healthiness of any dwelling begins with true piety within its walls. Be sustained by home devotion, and God’s Word will run swiftly in your life.

Healing leaves are for the healing of the nations; the very least thing about Christ is medicine for the soul. Those leaves change the life-blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was. Ask to be forgiven, and healing will come from the pardoning hand. He opens doors no man can shut, and when He shuts, none can open. Go in this confidence: He who raised the palsied man both forgave and healed. May you now experience that the healing power of the Gospel is power to forgive sin, to bring victory, and to grant rest.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You seek peace and security, a home full of harmony, faithful friends, and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. These are good desires, but know that true peace is not mere freedom from trouble; it is the peace that Christ gives, not as the world gives. He Himself said He came not to bring a superficial peace, but a sword that cuts away our worldly attachments. Yet to those who abide in Him, He grants a pasture of safety where no one can cast them out. That security is found when you hear the voice of the Bridegroom and rejoice in it, and when you hold fast the Spirit through earnest pursuit of heavenly things. A worldly soul cannot receive that Spirit, for the world cannot see Him or know Him.

You pray for friends. Seek friends who share the faith, for love without faith is empty. Let peace and love be with faith, so that your companionship may give cheerful confidence in the things to come. But be cautious: do not love ease and present comforts as Demas did, who forsook the Apostle because he loved this present world. Rather, be willing to bear hardship with the brethren, for when you war against a brother, you war against Christ's own members. How can we receive the peace pronounced so many times in the Church and yet remain in feuds? Let not the majestic usages become mere forms of words; let your heart truly return the greeting, "Peace to you."

If you want a harmonious home, first make your own heart a dwelling for the Spirit. Then He will direct all your affairs in security and much peace. Rootlessness is cured by being rooted in the word of God, not as a careless hearer who goes away with nothing, but as one who minds heavenly things. Draw near to Jesus by hearing His word, for faith comes by hearing, and by it the Church is wedded to God. Then you will know His healing, and He will open doors no one can shut, and shut doors no one can open.

So pray, but also act. Give yourself to earnestness, and do not drive the Spirit away by clinging to earthly cares. Then the God of peace will grant you His own peace and rest that surpasses all understanding, in Jesus Christ. Amen.
