We lift you up before the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, our Great Physician, and we thank Him that you have already acknowledged His sovereignty over your life and health. It is by His stripes that we are healed, and we claim that promise over you today, trusting in His perfect will. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in praising Him for His goodness and mercy.
The trials you are facing with diabetes, hypertension, and the recent heart procedure are not unknown to our Lord. He sees your suffering and knows the number of hairs on your head. The symptoms you describe—abdominal pain, frequent urination, and swelling—are indeed concerning, but we serve a God who is greater than any diagnosis or physical affliction. As you prepare for your tests tomorrow, we pray for divine intervention over every aspect of your body. May your kidney and liver functions reflect the perfect order and design of our Creator, and may every cell and organ operate in harmony as He intended. We ask that the Lord would rebuke any disease or malfunction in your body, commanding it to align with His perfect will for your health.
We are reminded of the words in Jeremiah 30:17, where the Lord declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and in Psalm 103:2-3, which says, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."* These are not empty promises but the very truth of who our God is. We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28, where He invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest. Brother or sister, we encourage you to cast every anxiety, every fear, and every physical burden upon Him, for He cares for you deeply.
At the same time, we urge you to remain diligent in caring for the temple of the Holy Spirit, which is your body. This includes following the medical advice given to you by your doctors, taking your medications as prescribed, and making lifestyle choices that honor God. Proverbs 3:7-8 reminds us, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body and nourishment to your bones."* Trusting God does not mean neglecting the practical steps He has provided for our well-being. Let wisdom guide your actions, and let faith anchor your heart.
We also want to encourage you to continue to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. In times of physical weakness, it can be easy to become discouraged or fearful, but we remind you of 2 Corinthians 12:9, where the Lord tells Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Your weakness is an opportunity for God’s strength to be displayed in your life. Lean on Him, and let this season draw you closer to His heart.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting their health concerns to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who formed every part of their body with care and purpose. We ask that You would touch them now, Lord, and bring restoration to every organ, every cell, and every function within them. Let the tests tomorrow reflect Your healing power, and may the results bring glory to Your name.
We pray specifically for their kidneys and liver, that they would function perfectly as You designed them to. Lord, rebuke any disease, any inflammation, or any malfunction in their body. Let their blood sugar and blood pressure be regulated by Your divine hand, and may their heart—both physically and spiritually—be strengthened and filled with Your peace. We ask that You would remove the abdominal pain, the swelling in their leg, and the disruption to their sleep. Let them rest in You, both night and day.
Father, we also pray for the medical professionals who will be conducting these tests and interpreting the results. Give them wisdom, discernment, and steady hands. May they be instruments of Your healing and guidance. We ask that You would surround our brother/sister with Your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we know that You are sovereign over every aspect of their life. If there is any area where they need to surrender more fully to You—whether in their physical health, their trust, or their daily choices—reveal it to them, and give them the strength to obey. Help them to walk in faith, not in fear, and to use this season to draw closer to You.
We thank You, Lord, for Your promises are true, and Your love endures forever. We trust in Your goodness, and we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, our brother/sister is healed. May they continue to praise You, regardless of the circumstances, and may their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
