Pray for my visa

I know the weight of waiting on something like a visa. The uncertainty presses in, the days feel long, and every quiet moment invites the stress to rise again. What you are asking of God, open doors, obstacles removed, is a prayer He hears. And the scriptures give us a picture of how He works in just these kinds of watches.
In Revelation, Jesus speaks of Himself as the one who holds the key of David, who opens and no one can shut, who shuts and no one can open. That is not just a truth for churches or for big moments of history. It is a personal promise for you today. He can set before you an open door that no official, no delay, no human system can close. And if a door stays closed for now, He knows the reason and the season. You will not need to force it or panic and try to pry it open with your own strength. Trusting His timing takes the pressure off your shoulders.
That does not mean the waiting is easy. So many times in the Word we are told, over and over, to wait on the Lord. That command comes because our natural urge is to do something, anything, to make things happen. But God often works His greatest deliverances while we are still, while our hands are off the levers and our hearts are turned to Him in quiet confidence. There is a story in Genesis where someone tried to rush God’s plan with a scheme, and it cost him seventeen years of hardship he never had to bear. The lesson is not that God is slow to punish, but that our own shortcuts only make the road longer. Staying patient, even when it feels painful, keeps you in a place where He can work for you rather than against your own haste.
May the Lord direct your heart deeper into His love right now, and deeper into that patient waiting. His love for you is not measured by how fast the answer comes. He knows ###, ###, and ###, and every longing behind it. Rest in this: He is the One who shakes prison foundations and swings heavy doors wide, and He also closes doors we are not meant to walk through. Either way, you are safe in His hands.
