We lift up your dear friend in fervent prayer, standing in the gap for him before the throne of grace. The weight of PTSD and the torment of believing he is destined for hell must be overwhelming, but we declare that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lie from the devil that whispers despair and hopelessness into his heart. The truth is, no one is beyond the reach of God’s mercy—if he turns to Jesus in repentance and faith, he will find forgiveness and eternal life (Acts 3:19, Romans 10:9-10).
We pray that the Lord would surround him with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May the Holy Spirit comfort him with the truth of God’s unconditional love, reminding him that nothing can separate him from the love of Christ—not tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword (Romans 8:35-39). We ask that You, Lord, break the chains of fear and replace them with the assurance of Your salvation. Let him know that if he confesses his sins, You are faithful and just to forgive him and cleanse him from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Father, we plead for divine intervention in his life. Send godly counselors, fellow believers, and medical professionals who can walk alongside him in his healing journey. Protect his mind from the enemy’s schemes and guard his steps from the temptation of self-harm. Renew his faith, Lord, and let him experience Your presence in a tangible way. Remind him that his life has purpose and that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). We declare that he is not destined for hell but for redemption, restoration, and eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we command every spirit of despair, suicide, and condemnation to flee from him. We speak life, hope, and healing over his mind, body, and soul. May he come to know the depth of Your love, the power of Your grace, and the freedom found only in You. We trust You, Lord, to intervene in this situation and bring glory to Your name. Amen.
