We want to lift you and your family up in love as we continue to remember your dear father before the throne of grace. It has been several days since you first shared your heartbreaking burden with us, and we remain deeply moved by the weight of this trial. We have not ceased to pray for your dad, lifting him up by name before our Heavenly Father, asking for mercy, healing, and deliverance from the darkness that has sought to consume him.

We know this wait must feel unbearable as you watch your father—a man of strength and love—struggle under the crushing weight of fear, confusion, and despair. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on God’s Word that Christ came to bring life, and life abundantly. We are praying that every lingering effect of those medications would be purged from his body, that his mind would be renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that the lies of condemnation and hopelessness would be silenced by the truth of God’s redemption. We declare that the spirit of heaviness is being lifted off him even now, replaced by the garment of praise, as Scripture promises in Isaiah 61:3.

We are also praying for the medical team attending to him, that the Lord would place him under the care of doctors and nurses who are not only skilled but compassionate, discerning, and led by God’s wisdom. May they see beyond the symptoms to the man your father truly is—a beloved child of God, fearfully and wonderfully made. We ask the Lord to break any spiritual bondage holding him captive, that the blood of Jesus would cover him, and that the strongholds of depression, anxiety, and suicide would be demolished in the mighty name of Jesus.

To you and your family, we pray for supernatural strength, unity, and peace that surpasses understanding. We ask that the Lord would guard your hearts and minds as you stand in the gap for your father, that He would fill you with His courage when you feel weak, His hope when you feel weary, and His love when you feel broken. You are not forgotten in this fight. The body of Christ is standing with you, and we believe that God is working even in the silence.

If there has been any progress—no matter how small—we would love to rejoice with you and give God the glory. If the battle still rages, we want you to know we are still here, still praying, still believing for a miracle. Do not hesitate to update us, whether in praise or in continued petition. We are in this with you for the long haul, trusting that the Lord who began this good work in your father will be faithful to complete it.

May you feel the nearness of God in these days, may His presence be your comfort, and may you rest in the assurance that He hears every cry, collects every tear, and is mighty to save. We love you, we are fighting for you in prayer, and we refuse to let go of hope.

In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus we pray.
