Pray for me to meet a woman

Hello! My name is ###. I live in ###. I have a prayer request. Pray in Jesus name and pray with love. Please continue to pray for me to meet a woman God wants me to love and marry and pray God makes it possible in practical ways to get to know each other when we meet. Pray that God sends me a woman that really has interest in getting to know me and will not give up on me until I am hers and she is mine. Pray for miracles to happen in my life. God bless you! Best regards ###

We hear your heart’s longing, and we join you in lifting this desire before the Lord in Jesus’ name. Your request is not just about meeting someone, it’s about God’s timing, His perfect will, and the covenant of marriage He ordains. We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord knows the desires of your heart and will answer according to His wisdom and love.

First, we want to affirm that marriage is a sacred institution, designed by God from the beginning. Genesis 2:18 tells us, "The Lord God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.'" And in Genesis 2:24, we read, "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they shall be one flesh." Marriage is a reflection of Christ’s relationship with the Church, a holy, lifelong commitment between one man and one woman. We pray that God would prepare your heart for this kind of union, that you would seek a wife who loves the Lord above all else, and that your future marriage would glorify Him in every way.

We also encourage you to examine your own walk with Christ as you seek a spouse. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, Scripture warns, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" The foundation of a godly marriage is a shared faith in Jesus Christ. We pray that God would not only bring the right woman into your life but that He would also continue to shape you into the man He has called you to be, a man of integrity, patience, and unwavering trust in Him.

Your request for "miracles" is understandable, and we believe God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). However, we also want to gently remind you that God’s miracles often unfold in ways we may not expect. Sometimes, His greatest work is not in changing our circumstances but in changing our hearts. We pray that as you wait, you would grow in contentment, knowing that your worth is found in Christ alone, not in whether or not you are married. Philippians 4:11-13 says, "I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. I know how to be humbled, and I know how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

We also want to address the language of possession in your request, "until I am hers and she is mine." While the desire for mutual commitment is natural, we must remember that marriage is not about ownership but about sacrificial love. Ephesians 5:25 instructs husbands, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it." True love is not about claiming someone as your own but about laying down your life for them. We pray that your future relationship would be marked by this kind of Christlike love, where both you and your wife seek to serve and honor one another.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who longs to meet the woman You have prepared for him. Lord, You know the desires of his heart, and we trust that You will fulfill them according to Your perfect will. We ask that You would guide him in this season of waiting, that he would grow in faith, patience, and trust in You. Prepare his heart for marriage, Lord, and prepare the heart of the woman You have chosen for him. Let their paths cross in Your perfect timing, and let their relationship be built on a foundation of shared faith in You.

Father, we pray against any impatience or frustration that may arise as he waits. Fill him with Your peace and remind him that his worth is found in You alone. Help him to seek You first in all things, knowing that as he delights himself in You, You will give him the desires of his heart (Psalm 37:4). Lord, we ask that You would open doors for him to meet godly women, and that You would give him wisdom to discern Your will in every interaction.

We also pray for the woman who will one day be his wife. Prepare her heart, Lord. Draw her closer to You, and let her walk in obedience to Your Word. Give her a spirit of gentleness, kindness, and wisdom. Let her be a woman who loves You above all else and who will stand beside him as a helper, encourager, and partner in faith.

Father, we ask for miracles in his life, not just in the form of answered prayers, but in the transformation of his heart. Let him experience Your love in deeper ways as he waits, and let his trust in You grow stronger each day. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6).

Lord, we also ask that You would guard his heart against any temptation or ungodly desire. Let him walk in purity, honoring You in his thoughts, words, and actions. If there has been any past sin in this area, we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Help him to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18) and to pursue holiness, knowing that marriage is a sacred covenant before You.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would give him practical opportunities to meet godly women, through church, Christian community, or other avenues where Your hand is at work. Remove any fear or insecurity, and replace it with confidence in who You have created him to be. Let him be a light for Your glory, drawing others to You through his life and testimony.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in his life, and may he find joy and fulfillment in You, whether single or married. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

As you wait, continue to seek the Lord with all your heart. Attend a Bible-believing church, get involved in ministry, and surround yourself with godly men who can encourage and mentor you. Trust that God is working even when you cannot see it, and remember that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11). We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will answer in His perfect way and time.

We hear the deep longing in your words,, not just for companionship, but for a covenant relationship where someone truly sees you and doesn't walk away. That kind of desire is worth holding before God with both honesty and trust.

While you wait, we've seen how the season of singleness can actually become a rich time of preparation. Many build sustaining friendships, deepen their faith, and grow in the kind of steady character that makes a healthy marriage possible. It is not wasted time. Throwing your energy into your church community, into meaningful work, and into friendships where you practice both giving and receiving grace, these things shape you into the man a godly woman will be able to trust and build a life with.

So for a concrete step: consider asking a man you respect, maybe someone in your congregation whose marriage bears good fruit, to walk alongside you during this season. Not to find you a wife, but to help you become fully the man God created you to be. That kind of wise companionship can make the waiting less lonely and far more purposeful.

Father, we lift up our brother before you now. You know the ache of unfulfilled longing and the hope that rises each time he prays for a wife. Surround him with friends who make the waiting lighter. In your perfect timing, bring into his life a woman of faith who will not give up, who sees him clearly, and who will walk with him toward a covenant that honors you. Until then, anchor his heart in your love, which never falters or fails. In Jesus' name, amen.

Such a prayer reveals a soul aching with a natural, God-given longing, yet we must immediately lay this desire upon the altar and ask whether we seek the gift or the Giver. I perceive a danger in your words, a pleading for a woman to be sent who will not give up on you until you are hers. That is to make the creature your confidence instead of the Creator. Should it be according to your mind? Are you the comptroller of Divine Providence? No, the child of God cannot demand an appointment so specific without first bowing in holy fear. Though He slay you, yet trust in Him. The grandeur of the Divine Character forbids us to impute unfaithfulness to Him. When we tremble to have one hard thought of Him, in that very fear we find strong confidence.

You ask for love. Then look to the miracle of miracles, that Christ loved you and gave Himself for you. His love is the model of what a husband’s love should be, special, particular, set apart, putting two souls on a level of mutual delight. But can any earthly affection satisfy unless you first know the marriage where God never puts away? If you are not joined to Christ with an eternal covenant, all your seeking for a mate will be a gilded sepulcher, a dead soul crying for life from another dead soul. You must be brought up from that grave by the Divine energy that raised Jesus. Our hearts were fascinated by vanity, like sirens luring us to destruction, until Divine Grace stepped in. Do not pray chiefly for a woman, but that the Holy Spirit would breathe life into your spirit, making you a new creature with a heart of flesh.

You ask for miracles, and well you may, for it is a miracle indeed when God takes a soul and lifts its sins, like millstones, and casts them behind His back. What a Divine cast that is! None but Jehovah Jesus could lift all your sins and bear them upon His shoulders. Seek this perfect pardon before you seek a bride. Go home and turn it over in quiet meditation, endeavoring to get a grip of that great privilege, and may the Holy Spirit seal it home to you. Then, whether you find a wife or remain alone, your latter end shall greatly increase. The beginning of the divine life may be small, like faint etchings, but it will grow until you can never stop growing, for the soul that trusts Christ must be secure.

Yet I do not despise your natural yearning, for marriage was the last relic of paradise, and our Lord hastened to honor it with His first miracle. It was a miracle of beneficence and compassion, worked not at a prayer meeting but at a humble wedding of poor peasants. The Lord condescends to the common places of life and sheds a blessing upon the secular side of our existence. Therefore, it is not a less sacred thing to be a married wife or husband than it is to be sanctified in singleness. But oh, take care that you do not kick against the pricks. If a godly woman is sent, she will be a pillar, an ornament, a buttress of your house, hedging you in with prayers. But if you are angry with God’s timing or demand a sign, sin lies at the door like a lion ready to pounce.

Let your prayer be altered. Cry rather, “O that my ways were directed to keep Your statutes!” Bind the principles of the Divine Life continually upon your heart. Let your admiration of the godly make you aspire to be like them, and you will feel you cannot attain to that without Divine help. Then, if He pleases to send a wife, she will find a man already captivated by the love of Christ, and your home will not be a grave of dead formality but a living picture of the glorious marriage supper at the end of all things.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask prayer for a wife, and this is not a request to be despised, for marriage is a bond ordained of God, honorable and given as a safeguard for those who cannot remain continent. Yet consider well the profit of marriage: it is to preserve the body pure. If your own life is not already marked by chasteness, gravity, and orderliness, what advantage will a wife bring? For nothing is so pleasing to God as an excellent course of life. Miracles you seek, but know this: we are debtors for miracles that are gifts, but for our life and our doings we have God Himself our debtor. The greater wonder is not a sudden encounter arranged by heaven, but a soul diligently following every good work, prudent in conduct, discreet in dealing with others, irreproachable in life. If you would have a woman who truly fears the Lord, become yourself a man of such virtue that she may look upon you and not be ashamed. Isaac remained in virginity until he was forty, preparing himself; young men under grace ought much more to practice self-restraint, to flee the stench of fornication which corrupts marriage, and to enter that bond with a clean body and a sober mind.

Prayer I shall offer for you, but join to it a determined resolve. Let your faith, even as a grain of mustard seed, trust God’s provision, yet do not sit idle waiting for signs. The kingdom of God demands strictness of life; without holiness no man shall see the Lord. Seek first to be a friend of God by keeping His commandments, and care for your house and your honor. Then if it be His will to grant you a prudent wife, you will be ready to cherish her not with worldly mockery and pomp, but with the modest adornment of a shared pursuit of purity. Do not pray only that she will not give up on you; become a man so grounded in faith and good works that she may find in you a partner worth following unto the end. For what is impossible with men is possible with God, yet His greatest miracles are worked in hearts that have already turned wholly to Him.

Your desire for a wife and marriage is a good and natural one, woven into the way God made us from the very beginning. He saw that it was not good for man to be alone, so He created a woman as a helper truly fit for him, bone of his bone, flesh of his flesh. Neither man nor woman is complete without the other in the Lord. This longing you feel is not something to hide, but something to bring honestly before the One who designed it.

Yet the most important meeting you will ever experience is not with a future spouse, but with Jesus Christ himself. In the past, people could not approach God directly; they needed priests and rituals because of the holiness of God and their own sin. But now, through Christ, we can meet God anywhere. He is touchable, even by sinners. Think of the woman who wept at his feet, washing them with her tears and drying them with her hair. Her life was a mess, her reputation shattered, but she met Jesus and left forgiven, loved much because she had been forgiven much. That same Jesus knows your heart, your loneliness, your hopes. He is not distant or unapproachable. He goes out of his way to encounter those who seek him, just as he intentionally traveled through Samaria to meet a woman whose life had been wrecked by five failed marriages and a live-in relationship. To her, someone others would avoid, he revealed his identity as the Messiah for the first time. He did not recoil from her past; he offered living water.

So as you pray for a wife, let your first priority be meeting Christ afresh each day. Let him wash you, teach you, and fill you with his love. The kind of love that sustains a marriage flows from a heart that has known divine mercy. A woman who fears the Lord will be drawn to that gentle strength, not to desperate grasping. It is right to pray for practical ways to meet and for genuine mutual interest that does not quickly give up. God is fully capable of arranging those circumstances, he can orchestrate a crossing of paths you never anticipated. But do not demand that he must work with dramatic, visible miracles. Sometimes he leads us in a more excellent way, building character and quiet dependence rather than parting the sea. I have seen that the longing for a spouse can become an idol if it burns with impatience; that very passion, if unchecked, can cloud judgment. Scripture advises that it is better to marry than to burn with lust, but it also says that if you marry, you will face trouble in this life. Seek a wife, but seek her in a way that keeps you holy in body and spirit, caring for the things of the Lord.

While you wait, do not imagine that you are being overlooked. A man born of a woman, as we all are, learns that interdependence is God’s plan. The woman who will be your glory, as you will be her protection and shelter, is also being prepared. When the time comes, like the servant meeting the Shunammite woman, the question will be: “Is it well with you?” Let it be that your soul is already at peace, your faith secure, your love for Christ overflowing. Then, when she appears and sees a man whose foundation is steady, she will not need to give up on you because you will not first have given up on God. Keep asking, keep trusting, and keep walking closely with Jesus. He who gave Isaac to Abraham in old age, who brought Ruth to Boaz in the field, and who remembered Hannah at the temple, hears your request. He will provide the helper fit for you, not someone perfect, but someone perfectly suited for you in his wise kindness. God bless you as you wait and as you love.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with your heartfelt prayer request, asking God to lead you to the woman He has prepared for you. It has been our joy to stand in agreement with you, lifting up your desire to meet a godly woman who shares a genuine interest in getting to know you and whose will aligns with God’s perfect plan for your life together. We have prayed specifically for practical opportunities to arise—doors to open in ways that only He can orchestrate—so that when you meet, it will be clear that His hand is guiding your steps toward one another.

We have also asked our Father to move mightily in your life, performing the miracles only He can do, so that every detail—from the timing of your meeting to the deepening of your relationship—reflects His perfect love and purpose. We continue to pray that this woman will be drawn to you with a steadfast heart, unwilling to give up on what God has begun between you, and that she will recognize you as the man He has chosen for her.

If God has already answered this prayer in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so we can celebrate His faithfulness with you. If you’re still waiting and longing for His timing to unfold, we invite you to post your request again so we can continue standing with you in prayer, trusting that He hears and is at work even now.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him with all your heart, trusting in His goodness and perfect plan for your life. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
