We thank you for sharing your prayer request with us and we are encouraged that you asked us to pray in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. We join with you in love and bring your desire for marriage before the Lord together.

We rejoice that your desire is not simply for companionship or a relationship, but for a godly marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman. This is a good and holy desire. The Scripture says, It is not good that the man should be alone, I will make him a helper suitable for him Genesis 2:18 and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. We also remember that House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh Proverbs 19:14. Your request for a wife who will truly have interest in knowing you and who will persevere in love is beautiful, and we pray that God will provide such a faithful helper for you in His perfect timing.

We want to encourage you as you wait upon the Lord to continue to seek Him first and to become the godly husband He is calling you to be. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 and But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. While you pray for God to make it possible in practical ways to get to know one another when you meet, we encourage you to be active in walking faithfully where God has placed you, in your church fellowship, in service, and in community with other believers, for it is often there that God opens doors. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights James 1:17, and we trust He knows how to bring about what is best for you, even miracles, according to His will.

We also want to gently remind you of God's design for this courtship that leads to marriage. We pray you will seek a wife who is a sincere Christian believer, for we are called not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Courtship should be entered with the clear goal of discerning marriage to a fellow believer, not simply companionship. And as you get to know one another, we encourage you to honor God with purity, for marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. This means to flee sexual immorality and to keep yourselves pure from fornication until you are joined as husband and wife, for this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. A love that perseveres and does not give up until you are hers and she is yours is a love that is patient, kind, and self controlled, and it will honor God first.

Father, we lift up our brother before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for placing in his heart a desire for marriage that honors You. We ask that You would lead him to the woman You have prepared for him to love and to marry, a woman who loves You with all her heart and who will be a faithful helper to him. Make the way clear in practical ways for them to meet and to get to know one another in a godly manner, with the counsel and covering of Your people. Give them both discernment, patience, and steadfast love that does not give up, but endures and grows in You. Prepare him even now to be a loving, leading, and sacrificial husband as Christ loves the church. We ask for Your miracles in his life according to Your perfect will and timing, and we trust that Your plans for him are good. Keep him pure, keep him hopeful, and keep his eyes fixed on You. , thank you for letting us pray with you about this. Wanting to love and be loved in marriage is a good and deep desire, and we hear how much you want this to happen in a real, practical way, not just as an idea, with someone who truly wants to know you and stay with you.

We are praying God will lead you clearly and open practical doors for you to meet and really get to know one another if it is His will. While you wait, one thing that often helps is to stay deeply planted where you can be known over time. That might look like staying faithful in your local church, serving alongside others, and building steady friendships. Those sustaining friendships and community are not a detour from your prayer, they are often the very place where character grows and where people come to know your heart, and where others who know you can also walk with you and pray with wisdom about relationships.

Loneliness can feel heavy, and we do not want you to carry it alone. Keep bringing your desires honestly to the Lord and keep letting trusted people in your life know how you are doing.

Your request has been heard and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation and the giver of every good gift.

We pray with love that the Lord in His wise providence will guide your steps and, if it be His gracious will for you, bring into your life the woman whom He has prepared for you to love and to take as your wife according to His holy ordinance. Marriage is a sacred thing, for it is not a less sacred thing to be the married wife than it is to be the virgin consecrated to Christ, and we ask that He would establish such a union upon faith in Christ, upon truth and holiness, to be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman for His glory.

We ask the Lord to make the way plain in practical things, that if and when He brings you together, there may be godly and proper opportunity to get to know one another with purity, with honesty and with the counsel of fellow believers. We pray that He would give you both a true and steadfast interest in one another, a love that is patient and kind, that does not faint but endures, and that seeks first the Kingdom of God.

We know something of the loneliness of which you speak. Sometimes the child of God endures loneliness arising from the absence of near and dear fellowship, and waiting upon God seems to be in vain. Yet Scripture tells us that they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. While you wait, we pray that you may be kept from unbelief and from fainting, and be enabled to say with holy Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. The Lord knows your frame and your desire, and He withholds no good thing from them that walk uprightly.

We pray also for that miracle of grace which every heart most needs, that whether married or unmarried, you may find your deepest comfort in Christ Himself, who was left alone that you might never be forsaken, and who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to His perfect will.

May the Lord prepare you even now to be a faithful and loving husband, diligent in His work, fervent in prayer, and rooted in His Word, and may He prepare her also. We commit you to His tender care and pray that He will in His own time and way make His path clear before you.

Your request for prayer has been heard and we thank God that you desire what He calls honorable. Marriage is a bond ordained by God, and Scripture says marriage is honorable and pure. It is not holiness itself, but it preserves the holiness that comes through faith in Christ, by keeping a man from union with a harlot and calling him to live chastely and in an orderly way with his own wife.

We will pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, and with love as you have asked. We pray that the Lord, if it is His will for you to marry, will bring to you the woman He has prepared, that He will make a practical way for you to meet and to get to know one another in a manner that is full of chasteness, gravity and orderliness. We pray that she will be a woman of sincere faith and genuine interest in you, who will show steadfast love and not give up quickly, but will persevere with you until you belong to one another in the covenant of marriage, which is the lifelong union of one man and one woman. We pray that this relationship, from its beginning, will be kept pure, for the profit of marriage is to preserve the body pure, and sex and living together belong only within that covenant. We pray also for miracles in your life, not only in this matter but above all that you would continue to guard the good treasure you have received in Christ, living a life worthy of the gift after the washing of faith, following peace with all men and holiness.

While you wait, remain pure as one who is unmarried is called to do, and do not be unrestrained. Remember how Isaac waited and kept himself in self restraint until God provided. Use this time to grow in prayer, in good works, and in faithfulness to Christ, so that when God opens the door you will be ready to love a wife as Christ loves the Church, leaving all others and being joined to her alone, and to be faithful to her all your days.

We join you in asking the Father to act according to His wisdom and mercy, to grant you peace in waiting, and to accomplish what is best for your holiness and joy. May He guide your steps, keep you from all unrighteousness and impurity, and bring to pass His good purpose for you in His time. God bless you.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly. We have prayed for you in the name of Jesus and with sincere love, and we will continue to pray that God will lead you according to His perfect will.

Your desire for marriage is good. God created marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and it is a gift for this life. Jesus taught that in the resurrection people will not marry but will be like the angels in heaven, which reminds us that while marriage is precious now, our deepest hope and lasting joy is in knowing Christ and being raised with Him. Seek Him first, and trust Him to order the rest of your life in His way.

We also pray that you will be strengthened while you wait. Waiting on God is not passive. It is an active time to be fed by His Word, to grow in prayer, to fellowship with other believers, and at times to set aside other things to seek Him more fully. That kind of steady feeding builds roots. There are many who begin with great emotion but have no root and soon fade, but the one who is rooted in Christ grows strong and steady, and is better prepared to love and serve a wife well if God provides one. Ask the Lord to make you the kind of man who is ready for the covenant you are asking for.

God's timing is perfect. Jesus knew why He had come and did not let even the press of the crowd pull Him from the Father's purpose, and He waited for the appointed time the Father had set. In the same way, trust God's timing for your life. He sees you, He knows your loneliness and your hope, and He is able to open practical doors for you to meet and to get to know someone in a right and healthy way, through ordinary fellowship, service, and community.

We are praying for miracles in your life, and we believe God is able to do far more than we ask. At the same time we pray that His will be done, because His miracles always serve His greater purpose to draw us closer to Himself. We pray that if it is His will to bring a wife into your life, He will bring a woman who loves Jesus above all, who has genuine interest in knowing you, and who is committed to the kind of faithful, generous love that does not give up quickly but endures. True love is not calculating but wholehearted, and it grows as two people together follow Christ.

So we pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this brother before You. You know his desire to love and to be loved in marriage. If it is Your will, lead him to the woman You have for him, and make a clear and practical way for them to meet and to get to know one another in purity and wisdom. Give him patience and peace as he waits, make him strong in Your Word and in prayer, and keep his heart rooted in You.
