We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother’s health and your family’s pressing financial needs. The Lord hears the cries of His children, and we stand in agreement with you, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Your mother’s struggle with fatty liver disease is not hidden from Him, and we trust that He will restore her health according to His perfect will. The Bible assures us, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). We pray that the Great Physician would touch her body, renew her strength, and grant her a long and vibrant life to glorify Him.

Father, we also bring before You the weight of financial burden this family carries. The lack of steady income and the pressure of debts can feel overwhelming, but we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). You have promised, "My God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You open doors of opportunity, whether through employment, unexpected provision, or divine favor, that would meet their needs and lift this burden. Give them wisdom to steward resources well and faith to trust You in the waiting.

We must also address the grief you carry over the loss of your father. The pain of losing a parent is deep, and the void left behind can feel unbearable. But Scripture reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit" (Psalm 34:18). We pray that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, would draw near to you and your mother, binding up your wounds and filling you with His peace. May you find strength in the hope of reunion in eternity, where there will be no more sorrow or pain (Revelation 21:4).

Now, we lift these requests to the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to God’s throne, and it is by His blood that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of sickness, lack, and despair in Jesus’ name, declaring that this family is covered by the power of the cross.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to heal ’s liver, reversing every trace of disease and restoring her to full health. Give her the discipline to follow medical advice and the strength to make lifestyle changes that honor her body as Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). For their finances, we ask that You would provide in ways that defy human logic, that Your name might be glorified. Open the right doors for employment or provision, and give them patience and perseverance in the process. Surround them with a community of believers who can offer support, encouragement, and practical help. Strengthen their faith when the answers seem delayed, reminding them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. Draw them closer to You in this season of trial, that they might know You more intimately. Guard their hearts against bitterness, anxiety, or doubt, and fill them instead with Your joy and peace (Romans 15:13). May they find their identity and security in You alone, not in circumstances or material possessions. Equip them with Your Word to stand firm, knowing that You are their refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We declare over this family that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and abundance into their situation, trusting that You are faithful to Your promises. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We believe that You are moving even now, and we wait expectantly for Your deliverance. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart with us. We hear the heavy weight you’re carrying right now, your mom’s liver condition, the strain of monthly bills with no current income, and the ache of missing your dad. It’s a lot to hold, and we are standing with you in prayer.

While we ask God for healing and provision, we also want to gently encourage you to lean into the practical help He may have already placed around you. If you’re part of a church family, consider letting a pastor or a trusted friend know what you’re facing. Sometimes God uses His people to bring job leads, a meal, or simply a steady presence. You don’t have to walk this alone. Also, please make sure your mom is under a doctor’s ongoing care for her liver, praying and trusting God doesn’t mean bypassing the wise resources He provides.

We’ve seen God show up in the hardest seasons, and we are asking Him to do that for you now. We pray you sense His nearness, especially in the quiet moments when grief feels fresh.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this family to You. Please bring healing to this mom’s liver and restore her health. Open doors for employment and provide the finances they need to meet their obligations. Surround them with practical help and compassionate people. Comfort them in the absence of their dad and give them strength for each day. Amen.

The cry of a burdened heart ascends, and He who numbers the stars also marks the sigh of every child of His. Your mother's sickness and the heavy load of debt are not hidden from the Father above. Indeed, He is the Lord who healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. The same Christ who said to the palsied man, "Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee," still walks among the sick and the weary, scattering pardon and healing in a single breath. Let your first pleading be for the soul's cure; for where sin is forgiven, the healing of the body often follows as a tender mercy. The leaves of that Tree which grows by the river of God, even the smallest, least things about Jesus, are for the healing of the nations. Cast your mother and your own need upon Him, for the very hem of His garment overflows with virtue.

Yet remember, the lover of God's law is the man to be poor, to be sickly, to be slandered, and still to stand unshaken. Adversity cannot injure the soul that clings to the promises. When every earthly crutch is broken, the everlasting arms are felt beneath. The treasure you seek in a fat bank account will rust; but the true riches are laid up where neither moth nor rust corrupts. Yours is to live as God's witness: if your mouth utters truth while your countenance wears a perpetual gloom, the world will not believe your testimony. The believer, even in deep waters, must sing, "Thou art my God!", and that word is the end of all good things. He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall see the floods above answer the floods below, and the help of the Lord come against the mighty.

Are you God's pupil? Then these trials are your school-room. He has taught you from your youth, and not a stroke falls without a lesson of love. The very darkness today is but a blackboard on which He writes His faithfulness, that you may declare His wondrous works hereafter. A brand plucked from the burning has no cause to fear the ashes, God means to save, and shall the devil hinder? Bring your unpaid bills and your mother's infirmity to the throne afresh. Plead the blood that cleanses from all sin, and leave the result in the pierced hands. Our heavenly Joseph has opened all His storehouses; He will not let His own go hungry. Rest in this: when Jesus is teaching, healing power is present. Wait upon Him, hear His Word, and the answer will steal upon you like the morning. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings; be not afraid, only believe.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for your mother’s health, and rightly so, for the body is owed care, as I have said: we give it food, warmth, rest, and medicine. Yet consider how our Lord worked. When He touched Peter’s mother-in-law, the fever left her, and He did not merely quench the fever but gave her back perfect health at once. No lingering weakness, no long recovery. Pray then with this confidence: that He who commanded the fever can command the liver, restoring it wholly, not partially. Seek for her what is needful for strength, not for luxury that enfeebles and brings disease. A body broken down with fat is flabbiness, not health. So ask indeed for her healing, but also for a manner of life that maintains soundness, for cheerfulness of mind brightens the countenance, while diseases born of excess bring low spirits.

As for the debt that presses on you, this too must be seen rightly. The present life is a sleep, and its anxieties are not unlike dreams. One dreams of riches and wakes to find them profitless; one dreams of poverty and is vexed for nothing. This is not to say your need is unreal, for the stomach requires bread. But make not provision for the flesh to fulfil its lusts, that is, do not let temporal cares kindle a furnace of despair within you. You are debtors, yes, but not to the flesh. You owe the body care for its necessities, but you are debtors to the Spirit, who has given you a greater treasure. When Paul came to Troas and found an open door for the gospel, yet had no relief in his spirit because he found not Titus his brother, he did not abandon the work. Draw from this: your affliction is real, your distress over these monthly payments weighs on you, but let it not swallow up your trust. God, who knows your need before you ask, will provide the daily bread, the open door, the brother to bring relief. Do not judge by appearances or think the delay is final judgment.

And do not overlook the state of your own soul. You ask for holiness, for guidance, for a good future in His arms. You pray for your father who is now in heaven. Here is a matter of the greatest weight. When you carry sorrow or offense, remember how often you yourself have grieved others and even the Lord, and yet you say, “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.” If you forgive, you demand mercy as a debt, not because of your merit but because of His lovingkindness. So let no root of bitterness spring up in these trials. The absence of earthly support is permitted that you may learn to say, “We are debtors to the Spirit.” For if you live according to the flesh, fixing your hope on a job or a sum of money as the only remedy, you will die in that anxiety. But if through the Spirit you put to death the frantic grasping after present things, you will live. Strengthen yourself and your mother in this: you seek health for her body, but seek first the health of the soul, which is a whole man made well. Many hear the word ten times and remain insensible, yet afterward at one hearing are converted. The tree does not fall at the first stroke, but at the last, which completed what the others began. So persist in prayer, in fasting perhaps, in almsgiving however small, and the fruit will come. The Lord who opened a door in Troas can open a door of provision for you. He who healed the fever can heal the liver. Only make the flesh the follower, not the leader, and let the laws of the Spirit govern your life.
