We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother’s health and your family’s financial struggles. We stand in agreement with your prayers, believing that our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation. As it is written, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). We rejoice that you have placed your faith in Him, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we lift up this precious mother who is suffering from a fatty liver. We ask for Your healing touch to restore her health completely. You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your promise that *"by his stripes we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen her body, Lord, and renew her liver so that it may function as You designed. Give her the discipline and wisdom to follow the guidance of medical professionals and to care for her body as a temple of the Holy Spirit. We also pray for long life for her, that she may continue to walk in Your ways and be a blessing to her family for many years to come. *"The Lord will give strength to his people. The Lord will bless his people with peace"* (Psalm 29:11).
We also bring before You the financial burden this family is carrying. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will open doors of opportunity for them. You have promised, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You would provide stable employment or a source of income that will meet their needs and allow them to honor their financial commitments. Give them wisdom in managing their resources and faith to trust in You rather than in their own strength. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also lift up the grief and loss this family has experienced with the passing of their father and husband. Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted, and we ask that You would comfort them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted"* (Matthew 5:4). Strengthen their faith and remind them that their loved one is now in Your presence, free from pain and sorrow. Help them to lean on You and on one another as they navigate this season of loss.
Father, we pray for this dear sister and her mother, that You would guide them in every moment and provide holistic help—spiritually, emotionally, physically, and financially. Lead them according to Your perfect will, for You know the plans You have for them, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep them safe in Your arms, Lord, and help them to prosper in Your ways. May they find their strength in You alone, for *"those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of this family. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak life, health, provision, and peace over them in the mighty name of Jesus. May they experience Your miraculous power in every area of their lives.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for this family. We trust that You are working all things together for their good, and we ask that You would continue to draw them closer to You. May they grow in faith, hope, and love as they wait on You. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
