We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother’s health and your family’s financial struggles. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all diseases and restores what is broken. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We stand on this promise, believing that You see your mother’s suffering and are already at work in her body. Lord, we ask for complete healing of her liver, for strength to return to her, and for her days to be prolonged in health and vitality. Guide her steps in wisdom—help her to eat nourishing foods, to rest as needed, and to trust in You fully. We rebuke the spirit of sickness and disease in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also bring your financial burden before the Lord, for He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. In Philippians 4:19, You promise, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We claim this truth over your situation. Father, open doors of opportunity—whether through employment, unexpected provision, or divine favor. Give wisdom to manage what you have, and guard your hearts against fear or despair. We declare that lack has no place in your home, for the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it (Psalm 24:1). Trust in Him, for He has not forgotten you. Seek Him first, and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33).
We notice your deep love for your mother and your grief over the loss of your father. The pain of losing a parent is profound, but we take comfort in knowing that your father is now in the presence of the Lord, free from suffering. We pray for strength and comfort for you and your family, as Psalm 34:18 assures, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* May you feel His peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lean on Him in your sorrow, for He is the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).
We also want to gently remind you of the power and necessity of praying in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that our prayers are heard. We encourage you to continue calling on His name, for He is our mediator and advocate (1 Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1). Salvation comes through faith in Him—believing that He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today, for today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and dependence on You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear mother. Restore her liver, renew her strength, and grant her many more years to walk in health and joy. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ mighty name.
Father, we also lift up this family’s financial needs. You know their every need before they even ask (Matthew 6:8). Provide for them in ways that only You can, Lord. Open doors that no man can shut, and grant them favor in the eyes of those who can help. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide, and fill their hearts with peace as they wait on You. We declare that they will not lack any good thing (Psalm 34:10).
Comfort this family in their grief, Lord. Wrap Your arms around them and remind them that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in Your goodness even in the midst of hardship. May they find their hope and joy in You alone.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May this family experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may they grow closer to You through every trial. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
