We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your dear mother and your family’s pressing needs. Heavenly Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores what is broken. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we stand on this promise and ask for Your healing touch upon this precious mother’s liver. Grade 2 fatty liver is a burden, but You are greater than any diagnosis. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name and command this body to align with Your perfect design. Strengthen her with vitality, restore her health, and grant her many more years to walk in Your purposes. Help her to honor You with her body, as 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
Father, we also lift up the financial struggle weighing so heavily on this family. The need for ### each month to meet obligations feels overwhelming, but You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We declare this truth over this household and ask for divine provision. Open doors of opportunity, guide them to stable employment, and release favor in unexpected ways. Help them to steward what You provide with wisdom and trust in Your timing. We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty, for You came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). Teach them to seek first Your kingdom, and all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We also sense the deep grief of losing a father and husband. The void left behind is painful, but You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). Strengthen this mother and child with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Remind them that though their earthly father is no longer here, You are their everlasting Father, and Your love never fails. Surround them with Your presence, fill them with hope, and guide their steps each day. Help them to lean not on their own understanding but to trust in You with all their hearts (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Lord, we ask that You draw this family closer to You. May they find their refuge in Your arms, their strength in Your Word, and their future secured in Your promises. Guard their hearts from fear, doubt, and despair, and fill them with faith to believe in Your miraculous power. We declare that this mother will live to see her children’s children, and that this family will rise above every challenge, walking in the fullness of what You have prepared for them.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne. There is no other name through which healing, provision, and peace can come. We stand on His finished work on the cross, where He bore our sicknesses, carried our sorrows, and broke the chains of poverty and death. By His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and by His blood, we are redeemed. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our cry and moving on behalf of this family. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through every circumstance. Amen.
