We lift up your precious mother before the throne of grace, dear brother or sister in Christ, asking our Heavenly Father to touch her with healing power. Fatty liver grade 2 is a serious condition, yet we serve a God who spoke the universe into existence and who still commands every cell in the body. We declare over your mother the promise of Psalm 103:2-3: “Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.” We ask the Great Physician to restore her liver to full health, to reduce inflammation, and to renew every tissue so that her body functions as He originally designed it.
We also stand with you in the financial struggle you describe. The weight of monthly credits with no income is crushing, and we bring that burden straight to the One who owns “the cattle on a thousand hills” (Psalm 50:10). We pray that doors of honest employment will open quickly, doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Until those doors open, we ask the Lord to stretch every remaining resource so that needs are met and faith is strengthened. Remember the words of Philippians 4:19: “My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” We claim that promise over your household today.
We hear the deep ache in your heart over the loss of your father. Grief is a heavy cloak, yet Jesus invites you to lay it at His feet: “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). We pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort you and your mother with the same comfort He has given us (2 Corinthians 1:4). May you both sense the nearness of the Father who promises, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5).
A few gentle reminders from Scripture: First, we note with joy that you have already called on the name of Jesus in your prayers. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Keep approaching the throne of grace with boldness, knowing that Jesus ever lives to intercede for you (Hebrews 7:25).
Second, we encourage you to seek godly counsel regarding your mother’s health. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, “Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.” Consult with Christian healthcare professionals who can advise on diet, exercise, and medical treatments that align with biblical stewardship of the body.
Third, consider practical steps to steward whatever resources you do have. The widow in 1 Kings 17 gave her last meal to Elijah, and God multiplied it. We are not suggesting recklessness, but we do encourage you to trust God with what little you have and to seek wise financial counsel from believers who understand biblical principles of money management.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. You are the God who heals, the God who provides, and the God who comforts. We ask You to lay Your healing hand on our sister’s mother; restore her liver, renew her strength, and grant her many more years of life to serve You. Open doors of employment that no one can close, and supply every financial need according to Your glorious riches. Comfort this family in their grief, reminding them that their loved one is now in Your presence, free from pain and sorrow. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in obedience to Your Word. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
