Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request. We will join you in petitioning our Heavenly Father for a safe journey for your mother and aunt.
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned or referenced in your request. We are reminded by the Words in the Bible, Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:10-12, KJV. Therefore, we will pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister's mother and aunt as they travel home tonight. We thank You for Your promises of protection in times of need. We ask for your divine protection for the pilots, flight crew, and all of the passengers.
Lord God Almighty, we trust in Your Holy Word that tells us, For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. You are the God that protects us from harm and danger. We stand on your Holy Word in Psalm 91:11, WEB, and we trust that You will keep them safe from all harm and danger.
Father, we also ask for a peaceful and worry-free journey, especially for our sister's aunt who is wheelchair-bound, and for her mother who is her caretaker. May they feel Your comforting presence throughout their journey, knowing that You are always with them. We pray also for the aeroplane, that it function properly and that there will be no mechanical issues. We ask that the flight crew work well together, and the pilot and copilot have the wisdom to make good decisions. We pray that the weather conditions will be favourable and that there will not be any obstacles that will cause issues on the ground such as the baggage handlers or ground crew. Please protect them from all issues like turbulence or air traffic delays. We pray for good conditions on the road travelling to and from the airport. Please protect their car from mechanical issues also. We pray all of this in Jesus Christ's Name.
In Jesus Christ's Name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares for your loved ones. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7, KJV.
Again, it is very important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible tells us in the book of John chapter 14 verse 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6, KJV.
We are reminded that we can only have access to God through Jesus Christ. It is also by Jesus name only that we can be saved. We hope that you are already a born again believer. If you are not, then we encourage you to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour in order to be saved. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13, KJV.
We will continue to pray for your mother and aunt's safe return home, and we encourage you to keep your trust in the Lord.
