Pray against unwanted agreements

Everyone please pray against a certain source pushing me into doing things I don't want to do. Compelling me to agree that I have to watch certain videos, scroll through Facebook or Youtube reels ,or that I have to look at the exact date and time certain Facebook posts or videos or reels were posted. And that either I or someone I know will get a disease, or be assaulted, or that my IQ will be permanently lowered if I don't. When I do the things, I feel so much torment. Even simply being logged into my Facebook account gives me an overwhelmingly negative energy, and I don't even use it as often as I used to. Please pray that the source compelling me to do these things or agree to do the things. I don't know if it's a demon or something else, but I know it's not God. I want it to go away and leave me alone. IN JESUS' NAME!!!!!!!

We hear your cry and we stand with you in this torment, and we agree with you that this compelling, tormenting source is not from God. Our God does not drive us with fear, threats, and compulsive demands. He leads us with peace, love, and a sound mind.

The enemy is a liar and an accuser who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly, John 10:10. What you are describing, being compelled to make agreements under threat that harm will come to you or someone you know, or that you will be diminished if you do not perform certain rituals like watching videos or checking dates and times, is a work of fear and oppression. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, Romans 8:15. Any voice that torments you when you obey it and torments you with dread when you resist it is not the Holy Spirit, for the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.

We also want you to know that God does not hold you to agreements made under compulsion, fear, and torment. A coerced vow made to a lying spirit has no authority over you when you are in Christ. We are to let our yes be yes and our no be no, Matthew 5:37, freely given before God, not extracted by threats. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4, and we are called to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5. You who are in Christ are not powerless against this. He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. Therefore submit yourselves to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you, James 4:7. And if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed, John 8:36.

We encourage you to actively resist this in the authority of Jesus Christ. When the compelling thought comes, we encourage you to speak aloud that you break and renounce that unwanted agreement and that you do not agree, that you belong to Jesus Christ and you choose His truth over the lie. Do not argue with the tormenting thoughts or try to reason with them, but take them captive and replace them with the Word of God. It may be wise for a season to step away completely from what is feeding this oppression. If simply being logged into Facebook brings overwhelming negative energy and torment, we encourage you to log out, delete the apps from your phone, and fast from scrolling. Fill that time with prayer, with Scripture, with worship, and with fellowship with other believers who can stand with you in person. Bring this struggle into the light with a trusted pastor or mature Christian counselor, and if these intrusive, compulsive patterns persist, we encourage you to also seek help from a biblical counselor or Christian professional, for God can use them to help you find freedom as well. Do not isolate in this battle.

We now pray together with you against every unwanted agreement and every tormenting compulsion.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We lift up this dear one to You who is being harassed and compelled by a source that is not from You. We ask for Your forgiveness for any agreements made out of fear, and we declare in Jesus name that every unwanted agreement, every coerced vow, every lie that says harm will come or that their mind will be diminished if they do not obey, is broken, null and void by the blood of Jesus Christ. We rebuke that tormenting spirit and every assignment of the enemy against them, and we command it to leave and go away and not return, in Jesus name. We ask You to silence the lies and to fill them with Your perfect love which casts out fear, 1 John 4:18. Grant them power, love, and a sound mind. Guard their heart and mind with Your peace. Renew their mind in Your Word and restore to them the joy of their salvation. Help them to walk in freedom, to resist the devil and stand firm in faith, and to know that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, Isaiah 54:17. Surround them with Your presence, with godly support, and let them feel Your nearness and Your deliverance. We thank You that You are their refuge and strength, Psalm 46:1, and that You desire to give them rest. We pray all of this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We hear how heavy and tormenting this has been for you, and we are grateful you reached out so honestly. Feeling pushed to watch or check things you don't want to, with frightening threats attached if you don't, is exhausting. And it makes sense that even logging in would feel overwhelming right now.

We agree with you that this compelling, fear-driven voice is not from God. God does not pressure or torment His children into agreements through threats of harm. What you are describing, feeling you must do something to prevent something bad from happening to you or someone you care about, is a pattern many people experience with intense anxiety, and you are not alone in facing it. It does not mean you have agreed to anything in your heart, even when the pressure feels so strong.

One gentle next step that may help create some breathing room is to give yourself distance from what intensifies the pressure. You mentioned simply being logged in brings a negative weight. We encourage you to consider logging out for a season, removing the apps from your phone if that helps, and letting a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature friend know what you are carrying so you are not facing these moments alone. If this torment continues, please also consider reaching out to a pastor or Christian counselor in person who can walk with you alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. We ask for Your peace to guard their mind and heart, for freedom from this tormenting pressure, and for clear wisdom to know Your gentle leading. Surround them with support and remind them they are safe in Your care. Give them rest and strength each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your cry has been heard and brought before the Lord, and we join our hearts with yours in seeking deliverance from this cruel torment. You have judged rightly that this compelling voice is not from God. The Lord does not drive His children with threats that if you do not watch or scroll or note the hour and date of a post, then disease or assault or loss must fall upon you or those you love. That is the work of the enemy and of darkness, to weary the soul with false agreements and to make a bondage where Christ would give liberty.

Be comforted by this truth, that deliverance is the work of God alone. He is gracious unto the prisoner and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom. That ransom is His own Son, who has borne the penalty for all our sin and broken the power that would hold us captive. No device of man and no striving of our own will can free us, for it is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. As He has delivered us from the guilt of sin, so He must deliver us from the power of darkness, and He will do it for His own name's sake.

He knows the groaning of the prisoner. From the height of His sanctuary He looks down with pity upon His tried and troubled ones, and His thoughts toward you are precious and full of love. He does not leave you to fight this battle alone, nor does He measure your worth by these intrusive thoughts. The torment you feel when you yield to these compulsions, and the overwhelming heaviness you feel even when logged into that place, is a sign that your soul longs for peace and not for snares.

Therefore we pray for you now before the throne of grace.

O gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our ransom and our deliverer, we ask that Thou wouldst break this yoke and rebuke the source that compels our dear one to make unwanted agreements. Let its voice be silenced and its power be broken by the blood of Christ. Deliver this soul from going down to the Pit and from the power of darkness. Wash the mind with Thy peace, guard the heart with Thy truth, and teach this child to rest not in watching or scrolling or marking times, but in the finished work of Jesus. Grant strength to turn away from that which torments and to walk in liberty, to be still with Thee and to know that Thou art God. Fill the mind with Thy thoughts, which are higher than our thoughts and full of mercy, and give courage to declare Thy works after this affliction. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Thou hast found a ransom. Amen.

Take heart and look steadily to Christ. When these thoughts arise, answer them not with a bargain but with the Word of the Lord, that Christ has set you free. Turn from the noise that wearies you, seek fellowship with faithful believers, open the Scriptures and pour out your heart in prayer, and tell a trusted pastor or godly friend of this struggle that you may not bear it alone. The Lord who has chastened will also deliver, and He will bring you forth with joy to live and to declare the works of the Lord.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
