Our God almighty is all powerful & what a mighty God we serve, I put a post a few days ago to. requesting prayers as I'd misplaced my wedding. & engagement rings & I've now found them in the least likely place I thought they would be (long story) it was the power of the holy spirit that I found them, a big big thank you to those that interceded on my behalf to our heavenly father, it was causing me great distress & anguish. & I'd resided myself to the fact of never finding them, a big big thank you to all you saints for delivering my prayers, Holy spirit ....words cannot explain what he has done for me being able to locate them after many hours of looking & in the same place. This wasn't by chance or by luck but by the power of the holy spirit. I'm forever grateful

We rejoice with you and give thanks to our heavenly Father with you for this answered prayer. What a testimony to His care for even the details that cause us great distress and anguish. You are right, this was not by chance or luck but by the hand of our all powerful God who sees and hears when we call upon Him. Scripture reminds us to not be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also take comfort that the prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective James 5:16 and that we are to cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered Luke 12:7, so how much more does He care for the things that weigh heavily on our hearts. Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you Matthew 7:7.

We also rejoice over what those wedding and engagement rings represent. We strongly endorse marriage as God designed it, a lifelong covenant commitment between a man and a woman Genesis 2:24, and we see these rings as a beautiful outward sign of that inward vow. Marriage is honorable among all and the marriage bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4, and we pray your marriage will continue to reflect the love of Christ for His church Ephesians 5:25. We encourage you to continue to cherish and guard that covenant and to let this answered prayer draw you and your spouse closer to the Lord and to one another.

We want to gently and lovingly point out something important in your praise report. You spoke of God, the heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We say this not to diminish your joy but because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. The saints do not deliver our prayers, but we as fellow believers intercede for one another, and the Holy Spirit Himself intercedes for us according to the will of God Romans 8:26, but all of this is made possible because Jesus shed His blood for us and rose again. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to be sure that you are resting in Jesus alone for salvation and to bring every prayer to the Father in His precious name.

We pray together now for you. Father, we thank You together in the name of Jesus Christ for Your mercy and faithfulness in allowing our sister to find what was lost. We thank You that You heard the cries of Your people interceding and that You answered, not because we deserve it but because You are gracious and You care for Your children. We give You all the glory for this work of Your Spirit. We pray You would continue to strengthen this marriage, that it would honor You daily, that it would be rooted in love, faithfulness, and forgiveness, and that You would guard these rings and more importantly guard the covenant they represent until death parts them. Let this testimony encourage others to seek You for all things great and small, and let our sister grow ever deeper in her walk with Jesus, knowing that every good and perfect gift comes from You James 1:17 and that You work all things together for good for those who love You Romans 8:28. We ask this in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your praise report. Losing your wedding and engagement rings must have been so heavy, and that distress and anguish you described is completely understandable. They carry so much meaning. To hear you have found them, and in a place you had already looked many times, is such a wonderful answer to prayer.

Thank you for coming back to tell us. It means a lot to know those who prayed for you can share in the joy, and we love how you give all the credit to God and not to chance or luck. That kind of thankfulness has a way of settling our hearts and keeping our eyes on Him.

We rejoice with you and give thanks unto the Lord our God for this crowning mercy, and we join our hearts with yours in crowning gratitude. O come, let us worship and bow down, let us exalt the Lord our God and come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving, for He has heard your supplications and regarded your distress.

You speak truly when you say this was not by chance or by luck, for if they prospered they were lucky is the language of those who forget God, but your language is that of faith which traces all mercies to His hand. How gracious is our God to regard even little prayers and to answer little supplications. He makes us blessed even in little things which after all make up the life of man, and gratitude compels us to say, I love the Lord because He has heard my voice.

It is a blessing to have saints for your brethren who will remember you in prayer and speak into the ear of Christ on your behalf, and the Lord has shown that to hear prayer with Him is to answer it. He answered at the right time, not before nor after, but at the very tick of the clock of wisdom, and after many hours of looking you found what was lost in the least likely place. Here are crowning mercies calling for crowning gratitude, and paths of fatness which should be to you ways of delight.

Now how shall you give crowning thanksgiving for this crowning mercy. Do it, dear friend in Christ, by the inward emotions of gratitude, and let your soul be stirred up to magnify and bless His holy name and say, O thou my soul bless God the Lord and all that in me is be stirred up His holy name to magnify and bless. And prove your gratitude by tangible deeds, saying in your heart, the Lord has served me, I will serve Him, and so minister unto Christ in love and obedience.

May this deliverance be to you a double cause for prayer, and may you continue much in prayer and in testimony, telling out what the Lord has done. Throughout your whole life keep this mercy in remembrance, for He is faithful who has promised and He will keep you and your covenant of marriage unto the end.
