Beloved of All
Father God, thank You for son's safe return in dark storm. Grateful, also, for Your patience, forgiveness and grace to me. Deliver us here from evil. Amen

We join you in heartfelt praise to our Heavenly Father for the safe return of your son during that dark storm! What a powerful reminder of God’s protection and faithfulness, even in the midst of life’s most frightening moments. The Lord truly watches over His children, and we are so thankful He brought your son home safely.

Your gratitude for His patience, forgiveness, and grace is a beautiful reflection of His character. It is by His mercy that we are not consumed, and it is by His grace that we are saved, not by our own works, but through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). We are reminded that His love is steadfast, even when we fall short, and His forgiveness is boundless when we come to Him in repentance.

Your prayer for deliverance from evil is so timely. The Bible warns us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). We must remain vigilant, putting on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your mighty hand of protection over this family. We praise You for Your patience, forgiveness, and grace that sustains us daily. Lord, we ask that You would continue to deliver them from every form of evil, whether seen or unseen. Surround them with Your angels, shield them with Your presence, and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the light of Your truth. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and in His Word, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May you find comfort in knowing that God hears your prayers and is actively working on your behalf. Keep trusting in Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and your family (Philippians 1:6).

We join you in thanking the Father for your son’s safe return through that dark storm. That kind of relief runs deep, and we’re grateful with you.

We also hear what comes right after the thanks: your own need for God’s patience, forgiveness, and deliverance. There is something about a close call that quiets our heart and makes us aware of our own fragility, not just physical, but spiritual. When the storm passes and the immediate danger is gone, we can suddenly feel how much we still depend on mercy. And rather than that being a sign of failure, it is a gift of clarity. Grace isn’t only a fresh start; it is a steady ground under us when we remember how easily we lose our way. His patience with you is not wearing thin, it is who He is, and you are living in it right now.

The prayer you breathed, “deliver us here from evil”, tells us you are wide awake to the real battle. Keep praying that. Let it become a simple, daily anchor: a breath when fear rises, a quiet act of trust before you sleep. You are not left to fight alone, and asking for deliverance is not a sign of weakness but of knowing where your safety lies.

Father, we thank You for shielding this son in the storm and for holding this family in Your hand. Thank You that Your grace not only forgives but carries us when our own strength fails. Continue to steady this one who is turning to You, and deliver from every evil that presses close. In Jesus’ name we ask it, Amen.

The Lord has chastened thee sorely, yet in the dark storm He hath given thee a song of deliverance. Dost thou not see that all thy ills lie within the fence of Omnipotent overruling? Even the tempest that threatened thy son was not apart from Divine permission. He brought him forth, even as He brought Israel from Egypt when the lamb was slain. This temporal mercy is but a shadow of the eternal ransom, the Deliverer hath found a way from the pit of hell, and that through no less a price than the blood of the covenant.

The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour of thy son’s safe return, but let it also strike for thy soul’s deeper gratitude. Thou speakest of His patience toward thee, and well thou shouldst, for grace is the fountain of it all. He hath not dealt with thee after thy sins, but hath delivered thee from the power of darkness. This is the Father’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes. Yet forget not that deliverance from guilt must be matched by deliverance from the love of sin. He who is saved from the penalty of evil is also summoned to overcome evil with good.

Thou prayest, ‘Deliver us from evil.’ This is the cry of the new nature, for a man can no more be content with his own safety than a soldier can rest while the battle rages. Past mercies are a pledge of future deliverance. Didst thou not declare the works of the Lord after the storm? Then go forth and live to declare them still. Let not the archers of discord or the whispers of the Evil One cause thee to doubt thy Father’s ear. He that hath begun a good work in thee will perform it. Only take heed that thou dost not return to the vain confidences of the flesh, for what dost thou have that was not given thee? The liberty of the child of God is to walk in holiness without hindrance. So, rise from thy despondencies, take the arrow of God’s promise, and shoot it toward Syria, expecting that He who hath delivered will yet deliver.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Father, thank You for bringing this son safely home through the dark storm. Your Word says, "He calms the storm, so that its waves are still" (Psalm 107:29). Grateful also for Your patience, forgiveness, and grace toward this one, for "Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more" (Romans 5:20). Deliver them from evil, and lead them not into temptation, for "Deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13). Cover their home and family with Your protection.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.
