My house just had a power surge. We're not exactly sure what caused it but it seems to just be happening to our home in our neighborhood. We've had this problem before but it seemed to have been fixed. Please pray for us and for us to be safe in our home. Pray for all problems to be fixed. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in prayer. Father, we know that You are the ultimate source of protection and provision, and we ask that You would watch over this home and all who dwell within it. We pray for Your divine protection from any harm or danger that may come as a result of these power surges. Lord, we ask that You would guide the hands of those who seek to repair and resolve this issue, granting them wisdom and skill to identify the root cause and fix it completely.
Heavenly Father, we know that You are a God of order and peace, not of chaos or fear. We rebuke any spirit of fear that may be trying to take hold in this situation, and we declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). We pray that You would fill this home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that You would guard the hearts and minds of those who live there.
We also pray for provision, Lord. We know that repairs and fixes can sometimes come with a financial burden. We ask that You would provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Open doors of opportunity and blessing so that this family may not be overwhelmed by the cost of these repairs.
Lord, we thank You for being our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against this home shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your unfailing protection. May this family continue to grow in faith and trust in You, knowing that You are in control of all things.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come before You, and no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
