Good Morning Family,
"But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us, " What is this you are doing?" they asked. "Are you rebelling against the king?" - Nehemiah 2:19
When those who do; do and give their best try, Monday morning quarterbacks will come from everywhere analyzing what should have been done. Monday morning quarterbacks are the Johnny - come - latelys who attempt to assess what you have done and criticize it to the detriment of hoping it would not have worked out...
We are not talking about those who are in your corner and offer assistance in how to be more effective but those who the enemy has assigned to criticize, ridicule and mock any efforts of your success.
Your life gets changed and the critics hang in the balance in waiting for your demise...
You start your business and they don't patronize but hope that it goes under...
You experience a rich blessing and the naysayers don't celebrate but hate on what the Lord has done in your life...
You strive toward the vision and the opposition comes to disrupt the plans...
All too often we focus too much on the Sanballats and the Tobiahs. We give them too much space and too much energy in our lives knowing that there is no way they can destroy what God is doing...
Nehemiah helps us with the response in saying that God gets the glory and they cannot and will not take credit for anything that God has done. Beloved, know that what is taking place in your life right now, the critics cannot take credit for what the future holds for you...
Stay focused during this season and know that the best is yet to come...!
"When the road is rough and the going gets tough...the hills are are hard to climb...I started out a long time ago...and now I have made up my mind...I've decided to make Jesus my choice..."
